The trailer for Project Sifu 2 is finally here! 🎬🥋

Really grateful to everyone who helped bring this film to life, from our young cast and university students to the martial artists, filmmakers and friends who gave their time and energy to the project.

Filmed here at the University of Sheffield, Project Sifu 2 is a story about martial arts, filmmaking, friendship and finding the confidence to step forward.

Congratulations to Professor Nikki Dibben, who has been elected a 2026 Fellow of the British Academy! 🎉

Election to the Fellowship is a major honour, recognising Nikki’s outstanding contribution and leadership in research spanning music cognition, popular music and digital music media.

Nikki said: “I look forward to contributing to their vital work supporting and communicating the value of arts, humanities and social sciences research.”
