POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As much as I’m looking forward to the next season of Bridgerton, I couldn’t just make a silly little reel without thinking of the horrors happening every damn day. Then I thought, if I was Whistledown, what would I use my platform for? This. I would use it for this. I’d make it emphatically clear where I stood. Otherwise what’s the point? … What would you write? by @sheflourished_

Don’t be fooled by extra bank holiday, they’ve taken far more than they could ever repay or repair for the damage done.

I don’t mean to Autumn your August but I fear the weather is doing that already. Change is afoot! Rafe starts high school this week, Alex starts a new job. New routines face us as we inch closer to darker days and cooler weather. I can’t say I feel ready, I never truly feel ready, do you? #aweekendwhimsy taken in Stockport by @sheflourished_

I was going to post a birthday reel but then my mum sent me this picture and I just had to share. That girl was shy when it came to strangers, but she liked to dance to music, and was partial to a sweet treat. I guess some things never change. #41stbirthday by @sheflourished_

July joylights! Packed so much in this month!

1. Seeing @davidlarbi at his book talk, how wonderfully punk in world telling us to self improve all the time, David’s book and talk encouraged us to slow down notice our full range of emotions and be in the moment.
2. My espresso cups in action - learning to create stained clay and combining with other clay bodies.
3. Juvenile mallards 🦆 🥰 - fun fact, only the females make the classic “quack” sound
4. A thoughtful gift! If I could in totoros big tree I would.
5. My soon to be snack plate, stay tuned to see how I glaze it.
6. Photo Booth shots from date day - never gets old, although we are!
7. Flaming Lips at peace hall, Halifax. The lead singer didn’t crowd surf in his transparent zorb ball like he did 15 years ago, I guess he’s also feeling his age.
8. Our year 6 leaver - still not over it.
9. Our woddler niece - the cutest patootest ever.
10. Maiden bisque fire - I didn’t burn down the building, yay!
11. A full house on wingspan - I can’t tell you how rare this is to get!
12. Women in stem (spas, treatments, eating, massages) taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @sheflourished_
