✨ Portals ✨ The solstice sun, just a few weeks ago, drew us to the magic isle of Anglesey. It was as though the thinning veil that the solstice brings, guided us through a portal at Bron Menai. A portal that was just for us to journey on. Greeted by two gentle horses in a meadow, a swing made for two on a tree that looked like a protective arm reaching over us and an abundance of flowers, herbs and fruit in the surrounding gardens; we all took a deep breath in and exhaled. 7 souls searching, guiding and holding one another. 7 souls, soon to be sisters, howling into the dusk sky; toes burrowing in sand, cold licks of sea water lapping against legs, distant bird calls, fading sight of fishermen on the rocks and teenagers around fires laughing. We nourished one another with food, love, an abundance of hugs, laughter and deep conversations. There were no emotions that were too much, no limits to our thinking and an expansiveness that held such compassion that meant we all could shed whatever we needed to. The wisdom of mountains, wind, trees, earth and sea were our grounders; they held it all, so we could hold each other. A piece of my soul will forever be there. With so much love and gratitude for you all: Sophie, Shell, Lalitaa, Laura, Rabya and Phung. May we keep creating portals 🩷 #MenaiStrait #Anglesey #RetreatYourself

A Supperclub by the Sea 🌊 I’ve dreamt of hosting a sacred supper by the sea - surrounded by fire, salt air, and wild landscape. We cooked over open fire, barefoot in the sand, kissed by the solstice sun. Elemental cooking and soul food shared with soul family. This dream was made possible through the love, presence, and generosity of the women who surrounded me ❤️ Flowers were foraged from the land around our retreat house @bronmenairetreat Sous chef @lauravannallen brought her creative hands and open hearts to the beach kitchen Homemade marshmallows and cookies for s’mores were crafted by our Dessert Queen @shelsees — pure joy in every bite. @dr.lalitaa & @sheflourished_ helped set the scene, anchoring the space with such care. And our wise sister @beforeandagain_ captured the spirit of the evening through her lens — holding memory, light, and magic in every frame. @sophiepoultney for holding the thread that wove us together. You carried the original spark — the vision to gather, to retreat, to create something just for us. Without your quiet leadership and deep care, this wouldn’t have happened. You brought us home to each other 💕 Food prepared with intention, shared communally — grounded by the earth beneath us and the ocean beside us. We gathered again — this time in circle, for a Solstice Drumming Ceremony held around fire We journeyed through the chakras using rhythm, voice, and movement — a deep energetic release and activation. Nourishment beyond the plate. Food as ceremony. Gathering as medicine. A dream made real ✨ The Menu Garlicky Whipped Tofu Crispy chilli oil, crushed cashew with woodfired flatbreads Heritage Tomatoes Tomato vinaigrette, Szechuan oil, dulse pepper Pomelo Salad Cucumber, mint, chilli Romaine Lettuce & Seaweed Salad Whole Brill cooked over wood fire

Wild Women. Sacred Weekend. Solstice Magic. This time last week, seven women gathered on ancient land in Anglesey and co-created the retreat of our dreams at the beautiful @bronmenairetreat No guests, no audience — just us. Each of us brought something into the circle — food, ritual, softness, wisdom, creativity, music, movement, stillness. We made space for deep healing. We held each other through tears and laughter. We walked with Druids to the sacred mound and joined them in ceremony, honouring the sun We howled into the sea, lay under stars, cooked barefoot on the sand, yoga flowed, tuned into our intuition, danced with the wind, shaped clay with our hands, drummed around the fire and released We remembered who we are. The magic of women gathering in truth and trust with so much gratitude A rewilding. A reclaiming. A sacred beginning @jaderathore @dr.lalitaa @vbylauravann @sheflourished_ @beforeandagain_ @shelsees @sophiepoultney
