A month of training. Early mornings. Hard workouts. Sore muscles. A whole lot of “why did we sign up for this?” 😂

And then race week decided to test us BEFORE the actual test.

Sore toes. Sick kids. Body aches. That time of the month. Dehydration. The runs. 😂 You name it, one of us had it.

But yesterday — 8.29.26, HYROX Trials PSL — we pulled it together.

Sick, sore, tired and definitely not 100%… we showed up.

We trained for it.
We pushed each other through it.
We laughed A LOT.
And we finished it together. 💪

Today we recover, rewatch the videos, scroll through the photos and laugh at the text messages from this past month.

Because somewhere between the early mornings, hard workouts and yesterday’s finish line, we built more than stronger bodies.

We deepened friendships. ❤️

And THAT might be my favorite part of this whole experience.

Kids Spartan Race, Central Florida 2024 was no match for this 4yo! Kalani crushed the course with his older brother and run club friends. If Kalani can do it, ANYONE can do it!
We’re excited for the team (KID PWR RUN CLUB @kidpwr.tc) to run the upcoming kids Spartan Race in Palm Beach, FL!!! These kids love running in the mud and getting dirty. And I love that they’re so into it as much as I loved racing and coaching obstacle races back in my time in California.

These kids are strong, brave, fierce and mighty. Use your power words and you will be amazed of the hard things you can do! This is what we teach our kids who join us for run club! Come play with us!!!

While everyone else is losing their summer tan, apparently I’m still working on mine. 😂☀️

It’s October, people! Why am I getting DARKER?! 🤣

At this rate, I’m going to need a whole new shade of foundation by Christmas. 😂

Oh, and somewhere between all that sunshine, I got a killer workout in with my girls! 💪🏽

I never really set out to “start a community.” I was just a mom looking for connection.

Back in 2020, right in the heart of COVID, I started walking with other moms. I needed to get out of the house, Ellis needed little friends, and somewhere along those walks, I found my people.

Some of the women I met through those walks are now my best friends.

So in 2023, I felt pulled to create that opportunity again—this time for other moms in Vero Beach. A friend in California was part of The Mom Walk Collective, and when I realized we didn’t have one here, I thought… why not us?

And that’s how Mom Walk Vero Beach began.

This past week we celebrated THREE YEARS. 🤍

Three years of walks, conversations, new friendships, babies growing into toddlers, moms showing up not knowing anyone and leaving with phone numbers, playdates and new friends.

I’m so grateful for Julie Weiss, who came alongside me two years ago and has really helped grow this community and create even more opportunities for moms and their littles to connect.

And our three-year celebration was such a perfect example of what community looks like. Thank you to Vero Beach Little League for allowing us to use your space, Honey Café for opening so our mamas could grab coffee and get caffeinated ☕️, Small Hands Big Creations for giving our littles such a fun sensory experience, Bia Bubble Company for our amazing balloon setup and all of the local businesses and friends who donated goodies and raffle prizes to help us celebrate.

Because motherhood was never meant to be done alone.

We may have started with walks, but somewhere along the way, it became so much more than that.

It became a place to belong.

And knowing moms are finding friendships here the same way I once found mine? That’s exactly why I started it. 🤍

Six. 💙

How did we get here so fast?

From that first birthday to SIX years of this funny, wild, sweet boy who keeps us laughing and keeps life interesting.

Every year I think, “THIS is my favorite age.” And then you grow a little more and prove me wrong.

Happy 6th birthday, Kalani. We absolutely love watching you grow into YOU.

First flag football game and our boy scored the team’s ONLY touchdown!! 🏈❤️

Proud mama over here! Watching him take off down that field had me cheering like crazy! 😂

Baseball, football, run club… I think all that running is paying off! Look at those little legs GO!

This is what Mom Life means to me. ❤️

Two nights, two birthdays, a little Mahjong, a whole lot of laughter, and another memory made with some pretty special women.

Somewhere between the playdates, workouts, school schedules, birthday celebrations, and endless group chats, we’ve built friendships that have become so much more than just friendships.

We show up for our kids, but we also show up for each other. We celebrate each other’s milestones, try new things, laugh at ourselves, and remind each other that there’s still so much life to enjoy outside of being someone’s mama.

Every mama deserves a group of women like I have. Women who make room for you in their lives, celebrate your wins, show up through the messy seasons, and remind you that you’re never doing this alone.

Find your village. Build your tribe. Motherhood was never meant to be done alone. ❤️

And if someone says, “We should totally do that sometime,” make the damn group chat and pick a date. 😂
Because sometimes the best memories start with a simple invitation.

And somewhere between the wine, birthday cake, and approximately 47 consultations with the cheat sheet… I GOT MY FIRST MAHJONG! 🀄️😂

I came for the friendship. Stayed for the tiles. Left with a new personality trait. I’m pretty sure we all did 🤪

Apparently, I’m a Mahjong girl now. 💁🏻‍♀️

This is my kind of Mom Life. This is my Mom Tribe. ❤️

Saturday afternoons are officially spoken for. ⚾️💙

Fall ball starts today, and this mama is PROUD.

Watching him grow into the catcher position has been one of my favorite things. From when he first put on that gear last season to now—the confidence, the awareness, the toughness, the little details he’s starting to understand. I love watching it all come together.

And then… peep that DOUBLE. 👀🤣

Sliding mitt hanging off his pants, head down, and those little legs MOVING.

Apparently all those years of hearing Mom yell “RUN LIKE A CHEETAH!” at Run Club (@kidpwr.tc) have sunk in. 😂

Turns out… he does listen to me after all.

These seasons go way too fast. So for this chapter of life, my Saturday afternoons belong at the ballfield. I’ll rearrange the schedule, bring the snacks, sit in the heat, and cheer way too loud.

Because if my boys are playing, Mom is showing up. Every game. Every time.

One day I know I’ll miss these Saturdays.
Right now, I’m soaking up every single one. ❤️⚾️
