✨ 28 ✨ here’s the awaited FFS reveal, shot on both digital and analog 🏳️‍⚧️✨This is the first birthday I’ve had where I truly feel like I have something bigger to celebrate. I slowly began my transition at 23 and distinctly remember crying myself to sleep on the eve of my 24th birthday because I felt as though I was helpless and that time was moving faster than I was. This journey felt so daunting then and I never could’ve imagined a reality where I felt as good in my skin as I do today. It’s certainly true that it’s a marathon not a sprint. I’ve been focusing so much on Andrea recently, between all that self love and this recent surgery I feel this deep sense of inner peace and fearlessness for the first time in my entire life. I’m only 2 months post op in these photos and still have some recovering to do, but I’m already so happy and feeling so much like myself on the inside but on the outside now too. Thank you to all my friends and lovely people I know for your love and cheerleading (I truly am lucky to know and be loved by the best people).

Biggest thank you I can possibly give to Dr Rahul Seth @rahulsethmd in San Francisco for absolutely changing my life. Truly the best in the biz and I’ll never forget your kindness and warmth. Thank you for this profound gift of happiness and alignment you gave me during that long 12 hours in the operating room. I don’t know how you did it but this doll is forever grateful!

It’s a pretty cool feeling to see myself & the event series I created be covered in @papermagazine & @bostonglobe back to back! When we started @gaybashdboston in tiny bars back in 2018, never in my wildest dreams would it grow to be the massive, incredible thing it has become today. On top of that to see it called things like “iconic” and “pivotal” by publications such as Paper Magazine & The Boston Globe… proud is an understatement.🥲

Celebrating Trans Day of Visibility and also 10 years since I started drag this week 💝🏳️‍⚧️

Now that I’ve used these new photos to capture your attention in the most glamorous way possible… I’m lucky & grateful to be undergoing FFS in San Francisco on May 18th as the next step in my gender transition. I’ve been so busy with my transition and life that I haven’t created much drag content recently, but I realized the exact thing I needed was to take a quick breather from all the chaos of surgery preparations and do some art. I also wanted to honor my drag face in its current form before the procedure, it felt important to me that I did so. I hope you enjoy these pics! Anyways…. 🔗 in my bio for the surgery recovery fund that my partner set up. Thank you for your support!

Last night, the GAY BASH’D founders were awarded a Certificate of Recognition from Mayor Michelle Wu of the City of Boston. We are deeply moved by this honor and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of this amazing community over the years. As a small business ran by a trans woman and a queer immigrant, people like us don’t expect to receive recognition at this scale. We are profoundly grateful. Thank you to @mayorwu & @cityofboston for honoring @sheisstatic & @math3ca this way and for solidifying GAY BASH’D in Boston’s queer history. Thank you @_corean_ & @bostonoeoi for delivering this to us, sharing this moment, and for your commitment to nightlife in Boston. We can’t think of a more special way for this project to end. Thank you everyone who came out and showered us in love last night and joined us for our final party. We love you all. Thank you for 8 amazing years.
