*I DO ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO COOK CHICKEN WELL*

It was still good though. Especially when the chicken breasts only cost me $5. Yellow stickers for the win 😏

Also, yes I’m holding the fork weird. My hand cramps up and this was oddly comfortable. So calm down.

Some glimpses of my summer since I sucked at documenting it. I do have lots to share still from Chicago too so stay tuned.

Love these ladies

Grilled all the chicken for my friend’s wedding

Then next weekend captured another wedding

Earlier in the summer got to stop by and get a yummy treat from the lil cousins

Drank lots of coffee at church

Pretty sunsets at Beulah

A girl and her Tilly

Family time at the beach

Anna discovered I had a photo booth app so obviously we had to try it out

Reading by the beach

Video captured @hulvey at one Con

And also captured this sweet moment with on of the speakers

My favourite view of one con

“Sky booms”

Lots of this too

Bro was hanging out just contemplating life

Got a higher view

So many sunsets this summer by @shelaghmurphy

Since we’ve got some new faces here 1 figured I should re-introduce myself.

My name is Shelagh and I’m from Atlantic Canada.
-single in my 30s doing life on 1 income. It’s been a journey.
-I love coffee and tea
-photographer
-I do live event production with my church
-live all things cozy so obviously this is my favourite time of year.
-I also love the city of Chicago, regardless of all the political crap happening, it’s like another home at this point. You’ll see a lot of it on my feed.

I post about my faith, my workouts, sometimes the food I make, exploring places, and anything in between.

Can I just go back to Chicago and pretend today’s gut punch didn’t actually happen?

Petition for @shelaghmurphy to move to Chicago!!!! Lord please make a way 🙏🏽✨ by @shelaghmurphy

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Not the dreaded “SSSS” code. I knew as soon as I had trouble getting the connecting boarding pass that I was
“randomly selected”

Thanks @aircanada 🙄

Guess I’ve just been lucky the last 3 times.

With this heat, the hair needed to go, especially before Chicago!

An entire upper body Push workout with nothing lower than 10lbs. Aka I did a total of 30 reps of lateral raises with 10s!!!!😳💪🏻🔥🔥

We’ll see how my shoulders feel tonight and tomorrow morning.

Keeping consistent with workouts from either @growwithjo @growwithjo_home and @kaybishopfitness has definitely helped as I start a new summer routine for workouts this week.

5 Years of Nicki 🐶 (yesterday) and 13 years of Mittens 🐈 (today). Happy gotcha day to these crazies.

Don’t let the first image fool you. They don’t like each other THAT much.
