PG 26 ⭐️🎩🎭

i could not be more grateful to be making my solo choreographic debut at uci with such a talented and inspiring group of people. getting to open this show and being able to bring my vision to life was absolutely a dream come true. this piece is so incredibly special to me, and i had the absolute time of my life throughout every step of the process. i’m so lucky to live in a perfect world and have the most perfect cast. i love you all with my entire being and this couldn’t of been done without you!!

and to everyone apart of this production, thank you for the community we have built, outpour of support, and the consistent love and artistry that surrounds this sacred place. it pushes me every day to continue to create and reminds me why what we do is so important❤️ by @shelby.ells

Tear in My Heart 💔❤️‍🩹❤️

This piece was created with the intention to emulate the freedom and rebellion layered within this song. We wanted this to be an absolute campy and wild ride, still rooted in our deep interest with musicality, texture, and characterization. We are so grateful to have shown our work collaboratively twice and have closed this amazing showcase as well.

We can’t even begin to express how incredibly special this cast of artists are. Your hard work and energy every week is uplifting and inspiring for the both of us, and we thank you for the dedication behind the process. This piece and the family created from it remind us both why we love to do what we do. We hope you are just as fulfilled as we were making this. Our hearts may by torn now, but we love each and every one of you so so SO much. You make your mamas so proud!
