PRESENTING OUR FIRST FALL WORKSHOP❤️‍🔥 Come take jazz with Shelby Ells, Friday, October 9th in PSTU 1100!! Check in starts at 6PM and the workshop is 6:15-7:45 🙌

Shelby is a 4th year at UCI pursuing a double BFA in Dance Performance and Dance Choreography. Growing up in Los Angeles in the competitive dance world, she has a diverse background, training in all styles, which is reflected in her voice as a mover and as an artist. She has gotten the opportunity to choreograph for Physical Graffiti and the last 2 Barebones showcases, and is excited to be choreographing one last time this year! Let’s make her last workshop with Barebones the best one!!! XOXO

Sincerely, this Footprints cast and new friends here at @amerdancefest have become close family over these past weeks. Thankful for the mentorship, laughter, carpools, hot Ark rehearsals, and rainy day get away drives!! @dukeuniversity

To be a part of Good Trouble: Unbanned by @vtdancecompany was a reflection on how dance is a strong medium to be the voice when others are silenced. Vincent, your choreographic process was a researcher’s dream and an inspiration to be the best version of ourselves as artists and activists. The collaborative efforts of all involved was beautiful to be in and see how the community was impacted by our message - thank you, because “a mentor asks questions you answer alone” J. Lewis

Shout out to the best roomie ever for being a piece of home all the way across the country 🫶🏽 so proud of your performances and thankful to be around your character @emma._.5.6.7.8

Thank you to the wonderful team of this production in trusting me in calling this amazing show! I am so grateful to the choreographers, designers, AD’s and Stage Management team for your support and patience as I learned 12 dance pieces days before opening night. Thank you Maya for having everything prepared to pass over. To my backstage team, you are all amazing and I am grateful to have worked with you all!🫶🏼

Thank you, Shelby for teaching the backstage team your choreography to preform for the dance company!
