Weight loss ≠ body recomposition

All of these transformations are different, yet they have one thing in common:
their dream bodies weigh more than they thought they would.

And if I had told them on day one what their end weight would be,
most of them would’ve quit on the spot.

The thing about building a body you’re proud of is that it often means gaining muscle — which has weight.

So many women get stuck in the same cycle of losing and gaining the same 5 pounds over and over again because they’re too afraid to get uncomfortable…
too scared to see the scale creep up.

But that’s exactly why they stay stuck.

Because the goal isn’t to weigh less.

it’s to look, feel, and function better.

To move with strength. To have energy. To love how your clothes fit.

That comes from building muscle, not running from the scale.

Never talked to the gram about this one 😅

Spoiler alert you cannot have anything 💊 for nerves or anxiety if you don’t have someone you know driving you 😵‍💫 that was quite the experience.

Me and my frozen peas are doing just fine though 👍

Friday night turn up

Don’t let me fool you though, I was absolutely outside last weekend.

And I will literally kiss you if you can help me find the perfect wall art for behind my couch.

You can never go back, but you can, hopefully take the lessons and the moments with you moving forward.

It’s SO easy to get swept up in the hustle of daily life, but I hope I can hang onto the perceptive that 2025 gave me about what really matters and to treat the time you have with more presence and appreciation.

Miss you, dad 🤍
