What did our visitors think about the new exhibition by @vangoghlieuwe ? We asked them during opening night, and this is what they had to say.

Come see it in our Night Gallery at Shelter until 18 November, every Friday and Saturday. by @shelternightgallery

We had the best time opening REBIRTH with @vangoghlieuwe and all of you. So nice to see so many familiar faces, meet some new ones, have a drink and finally see the exhibition come to life.

For everyone who was there, we hope you loved it as much as we did. And if you missed it, no worries. REBIRTH is staying with us until November 14th, every Friday & Saturday during club nights. 🖤 taken in Shelter Amsterdam by @shelternightgallery

van Gogh down the hatch.

Last night, Lieuwe van Gogh brought colour into the night as we opened REBIRTH at Shelter Night Gallery.

Known for his bold and expressive work, Lieuwe builds his paintings using squeeze bottles and cutlery, layering colour onto canvases in a process that is as much performance as it is craft.

From today on, his works thrive in the club, screaming of the walls and moving alongside the night seekers of Shelter.

On view every club night from September 25 until November 14. taken in Shelter Amsterdam by @shelternightgallery

Artist Lieuwe van Gogh is taking over Night Gallery with his new exhibition “REBIRTH” bringing his explosive, unapologetically expressive work into the night.

Working with squeeze bottles and cutlery, Lieuwe builds his paintings through layers of colour, movement and instinct.

Join us for the opening night on September 25th.

Free entry. RSVP via link in bio.

Exhibition on view from September 25th – November 14th.
