Embodying the words we need to hear through poetry, art, and workshops so we can have the awe-dacity to be her(e) now.

Tell me, what has made you feel like a warrior?
Divorce, Quitting your job, setting boundaries, lifting heavier weights, conquering a project?

Melody Lee’s poetry and this quote still gives me all the feels as I’ve taken the resilience roller coaster ride for 10 years. I’ve made a few of her powerful quote, but this one feels extra special.

First, because a dear friend has decided that these words are meant to be in her home.🫶🏼

And Second, how the knot and petals merge into one. It makes me giddy to play with the details of the wood. Can you see it?

I’m sad she’s gone (you too Brandy😂), but tickled that she’ll have such a sentimental home where the WORDS can now whisper through different walls. by @shemakes.art

Time is strange.
One minute you’re a child imagining motherhood and the next, she’s already graduating. 🥹 Absolutely love seeing all three generations together.

I’m disgusted. I’m protective. I’m disappointed. I’m grieving goodness in so many people. This is not ok and we need to be louder. by @shemakes.art

I’m giddy. This gorgeous, magenta moon, wood grain glory gets to hang on MY wall!!!! I literally welled up with tears the first time I saw her. @havynhandmade is a beast when it comes to capturing the moon. And what better day to receive her than the full moon! This literally answers, why art? Healing us from both paint brush and purchasing. You need your art. We need your art. Never be afraid to share it. You just might bring someone to tears. 🥹 by @shemakes.art

When you feel like you’ve lost all that used to feel like YOU.
Stripped down and vulnerable.
In the waiting.

Simplified down to what matters most.
Sunshine and soil.
Roots reassuring.

And then…
A tiny sprout.

I’m still here.

Resilient AF.

Keep going,
♥️🫶🏼J
