🌿✨ A Sunday morning with Hebe ✨🌿

Standing quietly among the trees, the goddess Hebe looks out across the lake at Sherborne Castle & Gardens, where the reflections shimmer beneath the early autumn light. 🍂💧

In Greek mythology, Hebe was the goddess of youth and daughter of Zeus and Hera. She served as cupbearer to the gods of Mount Olympus, bringing them nectar and ambrosia, and was associated with the renewal and vitality of youth. Later, she became the wife of the deified Hercules.

Perhaps there is no more fitting place for her than here — surrounded by ancient trees, water, changing seasons and a landscape that seems to renew itself with every passing day. 🌳✨

Wishing you a peaceful and beautiful Sunday from Sherborne Castle & Gardens. 💚
