Had a riot of a time at my very first Spill the Tea! Historical romance is so close to my heart because every time I see a stepback cover or mass market paperback, I think of my mom. She’s the reason I love histrom and romance so much. I absolutely loved meeting all of the authors (some new-to-me, others who are forever favorites) and appreciate that every table got to spend time with them. Thank you to all of the authors for being so welcoming and engaging!

Some highlights (though the entire day is one for the books):
🫖 Meeting and hugging the legend @joannashupe! Life made tbh
🫖 Being at the unofficial newbie table with @gracecallawaybooks who was beyond delightful and so lovely! Just like her books.
🫖 Every interaction with @cmnascosta and being crowned best table.
🫖 Watching every author’s reaction to the Daddy DDS saga. 😂

It’s Dec. 1, so you know what that means. Happy advent season! 🎉 We’re returning to France for this year’s calendar with @kusmiteaparis (the U.S. version).

🫖 Day 1 is Anastasia, an Earl Grey black tea with lemon and orange blossom. You’ve probably seen me share a few Kusmi blends over the years since they’re one of my favorites to bring home from Paris. Anastasia is always a must-buy because it’s the perfect blend of bergamot and citrus flavors without being overwhelming. It’s mild in comparison to most Earl Grey’s if you like a strong bergamot flavor, but an excellent tea for morning. by @sherellws

Listen, @steamylitcon was easily one of the best cons I’ve ever been to. I literally have to buy an entire new bookshelf for all of my new reads. Everything was so well organized and the staff and volunteers gave so much to ensure we all had a fantastic time. I felt so seen throughout. @bookrecsbymel is a LEGEND for curating such a diverse and welcoming space where we could all feel seen. And every single author was extremely generous with their time and attention. I’ll cherish every conversation and every laugh. Lemme tell you. @mahoganybooks did their big one with this year’s #BlackBooksMatterFest! The DJ, the vibes, the beautiful crowd.
