Winter has been warmly welcomed into our household, especially in the kitchen 🤍 After a big, beautiful farmers market shop on Sunday, here’s what’s been cooking over the first few days of winter... All gluten-free. All organic. All wholefood. All soul-nourishing and heart-warming recipes that feel like a warm hug for my little family.

Kale, Sweet Potato & Chickpea salad
- Roast 1 chopped sweet potato in the air fryer for 12 minutes (or oven until golden and crispy).
- Sauté 4 cloves of garlic in olive oil.
- Add 1 chopped capsicum and a handful of mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Rinse and add 1 can of chickpeas.
- Stir through 4–5 stems of chopped kale until wilted.
- Combine everything together and serve.

Serves 2–3 and is my current winter lunch obsession ✨

Winter is definitely my favourite season for slowing down, cooking from scratch and gathering around nourishing food. If you want any of my other receipes comment its name below and I’ll DM it to you.🤍S xx by @sheriece_r

A little behind the scenes of what a “working Sunday” looks like over here.

Some days it feels like I’m wearing a hundred hats, yoga teacher, retreat facilitator, kids yoga creator, admin girl, playlist curator, bookkeeper, mumma… and yes it can feel overwhelming and a little all over the place. But truthfully, I feel so grateful that this is what a work looks like. Creating spaces for connection, movement, healing, imagination and community while also building a life around my family.

Also currently planning a workshop for our upcoming retreat and need help naming it 👀 heres my thoughts….

There’s no coincidence that from the moment you learned colours, orange has always been your favourite and it has never changed.

You are the true embodiment of orange.

The way it holds the boldness of red, your ragging fire, your big feelings, your rush of “I want it now” energy, softened and shaped by the optimism and light of yellow. Your laughter, your curiosity, and your constant return to joy.

Orange is warmth and energy. It is creativity, expression, and life in motion. It is enthusiasm that spills out of the edges. It is sunshine and flame all at once. And that is you.

A beautiful mix of intensity and light. Of chaos and joy. Of feeling everything so deeply and still choosing to love so freely.

This year has been one of the hardest we’ve walked together… as you became an older brother. It’s been a big adjustment for you but watching you grow through it has been one of the greatest honours of my life. Happy 3rd birthday my beautiful Bohdi boy 🤍 by @sheriece_r

I must be delusional… But maybe trying to hold it all is better than not trying at all. Motherhood, dreams, chaos, love… it’s all a season, and I’m learning to soften into it.

For the women doing their best and still wondering if it’s enough, you’re not alone. I see you. I am you 💛

My first full retreat back in over a year… and it was even more magical, needed, and transformative than I could have ever imagined. ✨

18 beautiful women, supported, held, seen, and so deeply connected. There is something truly powerful that happens when women come together like this… walls soften, hearts open, and something within begins to shift.

To have created this, witnessed it, to have held space for it, to have been part of it, it’s something I’ll never take for granted. Even after 6 years of retreats and counting.

Honestly, I feel so incredibly blessed. And I’m already counting down the days until we’re back here in June. 🤍 by @sheriece_r

2026 Mantras I’m Living By ✨ Because ordinary was never the goal.

In 2025, I lost myself to motherhood and I’m still slowly, softly finding myself again. These are the mantras I’m saving, living, and becoming. The ones I return to when the noise creeps in and I begin to lose sight of her again.

Which one are you claiming? ✨ Or share a mantra you’re living by in 2026 — I’d love to hear it. 🤍 Sheriece

It’s okay to NOT be okay. But it’s not okay to ignore your body. It was screaming out to me for months. And for some reason I thought I just had to keep going, that only time will fix this, will fix me.

That tightening and clenching of the jaw, the started with two. That overtime developed into a conscious stressor of nighttime approaching. That then turned into an endless dull headache that never went away. It wasn’t just from the sleep deprivation.

The late nights with Bohdi’s resistance to bedtime.
The early mornings, night time feeds & teething with Allirea. The musical beds from not just one but two babes. The moments of waking to a cry, and not knowing whose bed or which bedroom I’m even in.

I wasn’t just exhausted. I wasn’t just strung out. I was a shell of a human, in a disregulated body. That activated fight mode each night just to make it through.

Once I broke. I knew I needed help. I needed to stop waiting and start making small changes. My children didn’t deserve this version of me. My husband didn’t deserve this version of me. And I didn’t deserve this version of me.

So… I got my levels checked. No surprise: My iron and ferritin were the lowest they’ve ever been. I managed to get Allirea’s teething pain under control holistically
which massively improved her nights. I prioritised things that made me feel like ‘me again’ and I started openly & honestly answering the question - how are you? I accepted support. I stayed anchored in my body and my gratitude practice and I am slowly, gently pulling myself up again.

If you’re in a hard season too (motherhood or not). You’re not alone. You’re not failing. You’re not broken. You’re human. And it’s okay to not be okay. by @sheriece_r

Baby girl - I can’t believe you’re 6 months old today. Words will never truly capture these months. The love that’s expanded my heart, the exhaustion that’s stretched me, the transition that’s reshaped not just me, but all of us.

It’s been the most challenging 6 months of my life, yet I wouldn’t change a single moment. You, my darling girl, are the most beautiful surprise — lighting up our lives in ways we never could have dreamt of.

May you always know how deeply you are loved, not just today but every day of your life. Love you forever and always 🤍 by @sheriece_r

You arrived right on time my dear girl 💕✨

There’s a strong yearning in me — to live off the land, to grow what we eat, and raise my babies in deep connection with the earth.
Sun-warmed cheeks. Quiet joy. Sticky mandarin fingers.
This is the kind of life I dream of — where nature does the mothering alongside me. 🍊✨I know it will happen for us one day but for now I will just simply indulge in days like this until it becomes our everyday reality.

April 2025 - a month ill never forget. A month of big celebrations. Our baby girl turned one month old and our wild Bohdi boy turned the big 2!

I keep getting asked how are we going as a family of 4! In all honesty it depends on which day you ask. Some days everything finds a perfect rhythm, my heart is full, my smile is wide and I just want to pause time, to stay in this little bubble. Other days, I’m struggling. I’m exhausted beyond belief - I’m physically, mentally and emotionally strung out, And I’m counting down the minutes until I can lay horizontal. Although regardless of which kind of day I’m having, I do feel so very lucky for our little family and I know one day I will long for these messy, exhausting and demanding days surrounded by my little loves 🤍 by @sheriece_r
