2026 carry numbers are in. 📊 I feel like my bag has never been more solid with the sticks I have. I do have my eye on the @callawaygolf Quantum Max driver which I'm going to start testing soon. I wont buy it until I've won enough money from tourneys...Two tourneys in and I'm more than halfway there!

I'm grateful to @labgolfputters for the best putters in the world. I'm thankful to @jumbomaxgrips for the best grips in the world, and I'm thankful to @ghostgolfclub for the best golf apparel in the world. I hope one day to be under the wing of the other brands.

Still pushing for the People’s League, but I’m doing it the right way—no shortcuts, no "pay to play." As the owner of Team Birdie Fever, I’m here to support our superstars unless the fans truly want to see me out there. Plus, that 25k rule is a real wall. Keeping my head down and the grind moving. 😤

🤯🥳We had a day today baby! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all for the support you show me and the @birdiefevergolf team!

We were out there filming a bunch of different small things today with the boys Matt and Greg, so unfortunately not ALL shots were filmed in a straight up fashion during the front 9. I believe we have all the putts, the front 9 par 3 greenside-view incoming tee shots, as well as behind-the-shot tee shots, which were 3 of the front 9 birdies. We were filming KP challenges on #2, #4, and #8, plus another video subject that made all the putting in the whole round important, and we filmed a mini eliminator on #5 and #6. I think we're only missing some scattered shots on #1, #3,#7,and #9, but we may even have some footage of the shots, but necessarily tracer footage from directly behind. Even though our camera girl had to leave after 9, I made sure to get the entire back 9, just in case I were to break the course record (or just hit a PR), so those are all there (albeit not quite as exciting as the front 9). We'll do our best to put out a good production that shows everything we got. It will be exciting when it's released! We broke the floor ceiling out of a lot of stuff today:

New PR's
-Lowest Round (66) (69 previously)
-Lowest 9 (29) (32 previously)
-Most birdies in a round (7) (5 previously)
-Most under after 12 holes (-7) (-3 previously)
-Most birdies in a 9 (6) (4 previously)
-Most birdies on par 3's (3) (2 previously)
-Best par 3 round total (-3) (Even previously)
-Least bogeys in a round (2) - (Still searching for the bogey free round to check off from the bucket list - I felt it slip through my fingers 🤌)

Tied PR's
-13 GIRs (Tie PR)
-28 putts (Tie PR)

Dishonorable mentions (not believing these happened yet) I'm feeling grateful and happy at the moment, but later these are going to irk me for sure:
-Had a 3 putt
- Had 2 putts missed from 3 feet or less (which were all my fault - misread and slightly misexecuted)

Well, just as there are victories in going lower, there are setbacks going higher. Tough conditioned tournament play back to back weekends (4 rounds) blew me up a bit and we're back to 3.0. That's okay though, and it's just a bump in the road. Confirming that my wedge builds have been a major issue for me this year was the best bad news I could get. I thought my bag was set and I could only get better through work, but I was mistaken. New and correct wedges are on the way and I should have them within a week or two. My bag will then be fully set, but I think the results of getting them will bring me down to scratch by the end of the season. No matter what, I have the opportunity to finish the Idaho golf season at the lowest I ever finished a year of the 5 seasons I've played, so that's positive. Let's go! 🤟

I have one tournament left but it's match play, so I won't have any rounds posted from it. All rounds I post now will be regular rounds. Thank you for all your support, love you all! taken in Boise, Idaho by @sherm_golf

Another 73. The end of the round got windy and tough. I was definitely scrambling for pars on the last 4 holes. I'm hoping that listening 🎧 to these audiobooks about mental game will distract me in a good way while waiting on the course. Seems to have worked fairly well yesterday.

Anyway, hcp floated up another .1 to 2.8, but no biggie...Just need another low one to take me right back down.

A little hiccup. The 67 (-4) came off my card, and I put on a horrendous 85 from day 2 of the Caldwell AM. Looking to go low today on day 3 and try and sneak into some money.

I also got King 👑 of the course honors for the 4th straight week on @thegrintgolf which was cool considering the greens were punched and it was easy to shoot 73.

I'm still excited where my golf game is at and I'm still confident I'm going to get to scratch by the end of the season in November, but it does beg the question about handicap that I'll be making a video on soon, of how handicap works and should we really use it the way it's currently being used.

This weekend has made me realize that if I learned how to play in soft conditions, and got better at putting on really fast greens I could be really good. I was only two shots off the leader in my flight in the Caldwell AM and just the 3 shots I skulled in that round cost me 3-4 shots before the 4-putt I had in that round that should have been an easy par from being on in 2. I could have been EASILY leading the field right there...but soft conditions, and downhill lies are my true nemesis in golf, and I have to figure them out. by @sherm_golf

Yesterday's 73 (+2) has taken me down to 1.9 this morning for a new career low. The game I had yesterday could have been in the 60's pretty easily if I had showed up sooner than 2 minutes before needing to be on the tee box, in an unfamiliar group, and/or the greens weren't recovering from punch just 7 days before. I hit 14/18 greens and 2 others were just a foot or two off. There was a lot left out on the table for sure, but I fought hard to the finish making a great par save on #18, to even make this slight decrease even possible.

It was a fun round, captured on camera (videos coming soon), as I was trying out the new @snellgolf MTB Black LTD ball that they sent me last week, for the first full round. I'd say it held up pretty well as I had some amazing approach shots including a 5w from 267 that was buried in the right rough, and ended up 16ft for Eagle, on #5, for example. I think the approaches are great and wedges were good with this ball. I just felt that it's a tad bit spinner off Driver and Mini D which had me scrambling a bit more compared to the -ProV1x (left dash), however I have a hard time paying $20 more per dozen knowing that these exist and go the same or even longer distance than the Titleist ball on a pure strike. Bravo to Snell Golf!

As always, thank you for your support 🙏. We're real close to the scratch goal now, and I believe it'll happen before the end of the year, (my fifth season). The work I'm putting in at @teebox_meridian is helping my confidence with distance control, course management, strength, and putting confidence. The link to become a member yourself is in my bio.

14/18 (78%) greens hit, 2 under on the par 5s, and zero golf balls yeeted—I’m calling today a win.

Gamed the @snellgolf MTB Black LTD today and the spin around the greens was elite. The bad news? Punch marks from last week turned the greens into a plinko board. Missed two eagle putts inside 15 feet, among many other, but the real crime was #15: a mud ball sailed 15 yards long to secure the lone double in the round. I loved the ball using the irons and wedges, but noticed it is a bit looser with dispersion than the @titleist -ProV1x (left dash) and I didn't have good driving FIR % at all, at 30%. It's hard to say which ball is better, but if I had more spin from wedges I could proabably do better around the greens with the Titleist and have the best of both worlds, but I'd be tearing up covers on $5 balls. The Snells at $38 a dozen are insanely tempting because the distance is the same or better, and the irons and wedges are better. Putting is the same or similar feel. The Snells cover is pretty tough and I used the same ball all day.

Filmed an episode today of the new Birdie Fever series called "Chasing BF" (a series about shooting a Bogey Free round), and had a heartbreaker today.

Guys I'm living breathing proof that training at @teebox_meridian works, and if you want to learn fast and get better fast, by understanding the obstacles in your way of great golf, and overcoming them, hit the link in my bio. You don't have to BS yourself any longer thinking you're going to do it on your own. The support is great, and it's worth it!

Monday update: The handicap is stuck at 2.0, mainly because I played a weekly game and a tourney that were both 2-man scramble, however there was another drop in my differential average and my anti-handicap, meaning I'm getting more consistent shooting my average, which is the launchpad to lower scores sometimes. The highest round on my card currently is an 81! I've never had an all 70's and 60's card, but by the end of the season, that's quite possible 👀. Also some interesting numbers in the lifetime section of @thegrintgolf is that my 70's rounds are close to overtaking my 80's rounds. One thing is glaring at me though and it's not having that bottom line at all zeroes. I'm getting serious in the hunt for a bogey free round, and it's basically going to be almost the only on-course thing I film, until I do it, in a series on the Birdie Fever channel. Stay tuned for that if you follow BF. I'll be making the round or weekly updates here, but you can see the struggle on video over there.

I was just sent the King of the Course accolade from The Grint again for the 3rd week in a row, so that's really cool. The 74 round that got it was yesterday during a weekly club game, and it was a wild ride. 7 bogeys, 7 pars, 4 birdies and I missed many putts from 7-12 feet, including an 8 footer and 10 footer that could have easily given me 6 birdies in a row through the middle of the round. I'm playing well right now, even without my best stuff, but I need a little break as I just didn't feel that hungry to be out there yesterday. I'm going to film today, and take a few days off before the IGT Quail tourney that's REALLY important!

The question remains...Will I get to scratch by the end of the season (season 5)?

Thank you for your support. I hope you guys have a great week. See ya soon! by @sherm_golf

Played on camera for the first time since French Lick yesterday, and I just couldn't putt, but my game is so strong right now that I can still pull off a 75 apparently, 😂. I'll be grinding on the PuttView simulator next at @teebox_meridian , you can bet on that.

I broke all the checklist rules nearly, and it doesn't seem to affect my score too much, but I imagine that if I can keep those top 5 rules intact, I'll shoot in the high 60's to low 70's.

On the third slide you can see that my anti-handicap and differential average are coming down even though my handicap isn't changing much, and that is a good sign. This is the lowest my auntie handicap has been and it's under 8 now!

Thank you all for riding with me and all the support you always show me! See you soon! by @sherm_golf
