Thinking back 15 years ago - after getting kicked out of graduate school, I felt relieved, yet uncertain & impatient. This was the winter after my first trip to Africa. Upon my return, I knew there was more than speech-language pathology for me, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Today I’m certain.

I feel deeper clarity with more precision than ever before; I want this to seep into the heads of everyone who needs to hear this: My dear, there IS indeed more. You are not ungrateful nor selfish for desiring more. Seek God (Matthew 6:33 ESV). Answer the call. NEVER doubt your purpose. There is NOT one other like you nor I. 💕😉👑

More on my #psoriasishealing...

It's not my condition to claim, but I am claiming my healing & sharing the journey with the #psoriasiscommunity. There’s not enough info out there with Black natural hair, best hairstyles, & scalp care with this condition. This is the reason I am sharing. 🗣️

According to the Mayo Clinic, psoriasis is an autoimmune skin condition that causes the rapid buildup of skin cells, resulting in thick, red patches covered with silvery scales.

It is caused by an overactive immune system mistakenly attacking healthy skin cells. Psoriasis can occur on any part of the body. Approximately 80% to 90% of people with psoriasis have plaque psoriasis, and the most common area for flare up, is the scalp. August was #psoriasisawarenessmonth.
