I recently had the opportunity to speak on Roca News @ridethenews about the Iranian community in Los Angeles, particularly Persian Jews, and how deeply we’ve assimilated into American society while still preserving our culture.

We discussed the similarities and contrasts between Iranians in Los Angeles and those living in Iran — highlighting how, despite political differences, our shared history, language, and traditions connect us.

It was important to show the world that the Iranian diaspora is not defined by a regime, but by a rich culture rooted in resilience, education, entrepreneurship, and family values. #persianjews #iran #tehrangeles #freeiran taken in Tehrangeles by @shervinnatan

Honored to be recognized by the Iranian American Jewish Federation for the work of the United Jewish Coalition 🤍

This evening meant so much to me. My grandfather was a cantor for the Federation and had a deep connection to the Persian Jewish community. To return to that same community alongside my brother, Shervin, and be recognized for something we built together felt like a beautiful full-circle moment.

Shervin and I co-founded UJC after October 7, when our community needed unity, support, and a way to take action. Since then, we’ve worked to support Israel, stand against antisemitism, support those protecting our people, and strengthen our Jewish community here in Los Angeles.

I’m proud of what we’ve built and deeply grateful to everyone who has stood with UJC. Our commitment to our people and our future remains as strong as ever. taken in The Beverly Hills Hotel by @shervinnatan

From now until November, I’m not shutting up.

Not about voting.
Not about getting involved.
Not about the future of Los Angeles.

For years, people have complained about crime, homelessness, corruption, broken roads, and the direction of our city. Complaining isn’t a strategy. Voting is.

Whether you agree with me or not, get off the sidelines and get involved. Volunteer. Knock on doors. Make phone calls. Have conversations. Most importantly, vote.

I’m supporting Spencer Pratt because I believe Los Angeles deserves bold leadership, fresh ideas, and people who are willing to challenge the status quo.

The Golden Age of Los Angeles isn’t coming back by accident. We have to build it.

Let’s get to work. taken in Los Angeles, California by @shervinnatan

In one of the most important elections shaping the future of Los Angeles, the United Jewish Coalition has put together a Common Sense Voter Guide to help voters stay informed heading into Election Day.

We encourage everyone to review the candidates, do their own research, and make their voices heard at the ballot box.

Los Angeles deserves strong leadership, safe communities, accountability, and a vision for the future. taken in Los Angeles, California by @shervinnatan

Rick,

We have always believed in showing up for each other.
The Jewish community has stood by Los Angeles—through business, culture, philanthropy, and moments of crisis. We’ve helped build this city, and we’ve always done so with pride.

But today, we are facing something different.
Rising hate is no longer abstract—it’s visible, it’s growing, and it’s affecting real people in our neighborhoods.

This is a moment that calls for clarity and courage.
We are asking Rick Caruso to stand with leaders who are committed to protecting the Jewish community and to speak out in a way that reflects the urgency of this moment.

Los Angeles is strongest when we stand together.
And right now, standing together matters more than ever.

Best Regards,

Going to a Kanye concert is like going to a Nazi parade.

Antisemitism is not entertainment. When celebrities promote hate or praise Nazis, silence normalizes it. History has shown us exactly where that leads.

The Jewish community has faced thousands of years of persecution, and we will always speak up when hate is normalized or celebrated. Standing against antisemitism is not political. It is moral.

If you see antisemitism, call it out. If you hear hate, challenge it. If you value humanity, stand with the Jewish people.

Here, in the streets of Los Angeles, voices rise together with one message: Iran will rise again.

From exile to hope, from pain to resilience—we stand shoulder to shoulder with the Iranian people demanding freedom, dignity, and the right to choose their own future.
This is solidarity without borders.

This is a promise that the world is watching—and standing with you.
