Honored to be recognized by the Iranian American Jewish Federation for the work of the United Jewish Coalition 🤍

This evening meant so much to me. My grandfather was a cantor for the Federation and had a deep connection to the Persian Jewish community. To return to that same community alongside my brother, Shervin, and be recognized for something we built together felt like a beautiful full-circle moment.

Shervin and I co-founded UJC after October 7, when our community needed unity, support, and a way to take action. Since then, we’ve worked to support Israel, stand against antisemitism, support those protecting our people, and strengthen our Jewish community here in Los Angeles.

I’m proud of what we’ve built and deeply grateful to everyone who has stood with UJC. Our commitment to our people and our future remains as strong as ever.

This version of Kol Nidre has stayed with me since I was a kid.

Neil Diamond singing it in The Jazz Singer was my mom’s favorite version, and hearing it still takes me right back.

As Yom Kippur begins, wishing everyone observing an easy and meaningful fast. May we enter the year ahead with reflection, forgiveness, and hope.

G’mar Chatima Tova. 🤍

What version of Kol Nidre stays with you?

My official Tanya “Endorysment.”

I saw Tanya tonight at a friend’s house and came away even more convinced that West Hollywood would be lucky to have her.

Local elections matter. Turnout matters. And good people willing to step up and serve matter.

So here’s my pitch for Tanya. Watch the video. And if you live in West Hollywood, vote.

We posted Part One of this video back in March and somehow never got around to sharing Part Two. With this weekend’s @musicintheparktoronto Pomegranate Fest approaching, it felt like the perfect time.

This is an incredibly special and sentimental moment for our family. Our amazing mother, @ninihoma, speaking with the one and only Queen @farahpahlavi. This was our gift to her for a recent milestone birthday, and her emotions truly say it all. It’s a moment we will cherish forever.

When people ask us why we are doing Pomegranate Fest, this is a big part of the answer.

It’s about our parents, what they went through, what they left behind and everything they endured to build a new life. It’s about honouring that generation and bringing together those who share similar stories, cultures and experiences.

This is our small opportunity to give something back.

We believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. And if we can contribute even a little bit toward bringing people together, celebrating where we come from and creating some joy along the way, we are incredibly proud to do it.

Los Angeles, this coming November election is pivotal!

We are at a do or die moment, where ideology is trying to take over pragmatic governance. The choice is clear: do we want government driven by rigid ideology or by common sense, accountability, public safety, and results?

Los Angeles needs pragmatic leadership.

Great Night with Great Leaders.

Standing alongside these legends is an incredible honor. Everyone here represents the strength and resilience of the Jewish people and Israel. Among us are former hostages, courageous warriors, and soldiers who have served in the Israel Defense Forces. Each person has made extraordinary sacrifices and has proudly represented our nation. Being together at this event is a powerful reminder of courage, unity, and hope! 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
