HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEVONDA (dat me)!!!!!

I’ve been through so much in the past 30 years. Learning about how cruel life is from such a young age dealing with homelessness, s*xual assault, and death all before age of 7. Moving from home to a place where no understood me and being told that I am not liked. Having my family be the villains in my story. Dealing with an alcoholic parent. I somehow never hardened. I don’t think it’s how I’m designed.

My background doesn’t define me. I’ve been through many more hardships, but I’m in a place in my life where I am so LOVED. Thank you to any and everyone who has shared their love for me over the past 30 years. It’s so appreciated. I’ve experienced lots of changes throughout my life. So many versions of myself born and reborn again. Forever grateful for those who have been there and are still here for all the versions of me.

I feel like I’m just beginning. I am now intentionally creating a life of love. It’s hard but it’ll be worth it. Letting go of the past has proven to be difficult but the more I process the more I’m free. Look forward to more of my Shevonanigans and if we haven’t had a chance to share each other’s love, I hope we can in the future 💞 by @shevyhonda
