It was time for me to color in this book, and when I came across this page, I felt immediately inspired. I was hoping to create a slightly creepy, eerie vibe, and I think I managed to pull it off! 👻

And of course, I had to add a little witch flying out of the creepy house because I felt like she fit the theme perfectly. 🧙‍♀️✨

Another amazing buddy color between two friends! 🥰🎨✨

Two very different takes on the exact same page, but somehow both beautiful in their own way! 💕 That’s one of our favorite things about buddy colors: seeing how the same linework can turn into two completely different little worlds. 🌈✨

We also buddied the page right next to this one, so we thought it would be fun to show you how both pages look together! 👀📖 Swipe through to see the full spread! ➡️

From Shira: Okay… now that I’m looking at them together, I'm realizing mine REALLY needs a background! 😂🙈

It was time for me to color in this book, and having #lightvdark #hopesvfears (and also neighvember even when I didn't realize I was a month earlier for it), picking this page was so easy!

Trying to color it like the reference on the book was a challenge, but I enjoyed the process and I'm happy with the results.

The spooky season is here! And I decided to start with this cozy spooky page, and I love it! Don't you? But now that I'm posting, I spotted a couple of unshaded details. Can you find them? I will shade them right away, but I'm too lazy to take another picture 😂

I love flowers in real life. I try to have fresh flowers and flower plants at home as often as possible, but coloring them... that is definitely a different story! 😂

I don’t particularly love coloring flowers. I find them quite challenging, and they always seem to require so much work. But they’re on almost every page, so skipping them isn’t really an option. 😅

So I decided to embrace the challenge and work on improving my flower skills, with the hope that one day they’ll start feeling a little easier.

This page is proof of my commitment to improving! 🌸😂

Tips are always welcome!

Today is my dad's birthday, and in honor to those paintings we did when I was a kid, I took my watercolors and decided to give them a try! 💕

These are far from perfect, even worse than the ones I did as a kid. I need practice and time to build both skills and patience, but you have to start somewhere, and today I decided to start with love! ❤️

I love you daddy! Happy Birthday!🎂❤️

My amazing 10-year-old and I got two copies of this book to buddy up with from time to time, and even though he doesn't know about hashtags or coloring trends, he picked this page, and it is just perfect, right?
I love his page (left), bold colors, a limited palette, and he just made it work while enjoying the process.
I love you to the moon and back, infinitely, baby!

This is a page that I would for sure appreciate if I scrolled through Instagram and found it. I really like the illustration and the coloring. However, I finally started to discover what I prefer, and it is bold, bright colors in combination with strong darks, so these softer colors don't feel mine. Does it make sense?
