THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

OnePy Berry Match! was Bandai's arcade card game series that began in May 2008. Originally released as "Data Carddass OnePy Berry Match", players would insert 100-yen coins into the arcade machines for real-time battles.

Data Carddass One Py Berry Match is the first version of the game and follows the story until the end of the Post War Arc.

The game is based on the usage of cards which can be read by the arcade machine and unlock playable characters and their attacks/abilities. Some of the graphics are reused directly from the One Piece: Grand Battle! series. Then, a version for smartphones was released under the name Data Carddass One Py Berry Match AR!

Parts 1-4 were released in 2008, Parts 5-6 and the Memorial Match Sheet in 2009, with later parts continuing through 2012. The series evolved into Berry Match W (Double), Berry Match IC, and finally Treasure World.

Thirteen ordinary "waves" and “volumes” have been released in addition to two special promotional ones. In the One Py Berry Match trading card game, the terms "waves" and "volumes" refer to different types of releases:

•Waves: These are sets of cards released in batches. Each wave typically includes a specific number of character move cards, EX cards, and sometimes special cards.

•Volumes: These are compilation releases that may combine multiple waves or include promotional cards. Volumes can feature a broader selection of cards than a single wave, as they may compile various cards from different waves into one package.

Due to this structure, it is common for the card sets in volumes to not align perfectly with the waves. This means that while a volume may include cards from several waves, the specific cards available in a wave may not be fully represented in a volume release.

This card was released in the Fourth Wave.

Whitebeard’s Murakumogiri (Cloud Cutter) is one of the 12 Supreme Grade Blades.

Murakumogiri’s style of weapon resembles a Naginata, a traditional Japanese polearm. This legendary weapon is said to be the perfect conduit for all of Whitebeard’s abilities.

This Supreme Blade is able to withstand and channel Whitebeard’s powerful Quake-Quake Fruit, allowing the former Emperor to enhance the blade with shockwaves.

Murakumogiri is also an ideal weapon for Whitebeard’s impressive strength and Haki. It is able to clash with other Supreme Grade Blades, like the former Pirate King’s blade, Ace.

Being able to withstand the sheer force of Whitebeard’s strength along with the power of the Quake-Quake Fruit, showcases just how durable Murakumogiri really is.
