🚨 BROADWAY HAS ENTERED THE CHAT 🚨

We’re kicking off our fall run with a VERY special guest… AINSLEY MELHAM is joining us for ONE NIGHT ONLY at Shitzprobe! 🎭🔥

That’s right — the Broadway star of Aladdin and BOOP! The Musical is stepping into the glorious chaos of an improvised musical made up ON THE SPOT with YOU. 😈🎶

Here’s how it works: one lucky audience member gives us the title of a musical that has never been performed before… and will NEVER be performed again. Then we make the whole damn thing up. Songs. Characters. Plot twists. Questionable choreography. ALL OF IT. 😂

After celebrating our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY and taking a little summer hiatus, we’re BACK and ready to hit this fall run with a bang. 💥🍂

📅 MONDAY, OCTOBER 5
⏰ 7PM
📍 ASYLUM NYC
⭐️ SPECIAL GUEST: @ainsleymelham

And remember: this show happens ONCE. ONLY ONCE. Once it’s over, it’s gone forever. So if you miss it… well… you’ll just have to live with the FOMO. 🫠

🎟️ Tickets at Shitzprobe.com
Come see what happens when Broadway meets absolute chaos. 😈🎭✨

OKAY BUT WHAT IS A SHITZPROBE THOUGH. 🎭❓

A “sitzprobe” is the first time a Broadway cast and orchestra rehearse together. Very serious. Very professional! We skip it entirely.

Instead: we get on stage with a live band and IMPROVISE an entire musical. Every line, every note, every *chef’s kiss* dance move: made up on the spot. No rehearsal. No script. Just magic. ✨

And somehow it works?? Listen, we’re not scientists. Ask the comments. 💅🎶

Fall season starts MONDAY, OCTOBER 5 @ 7PM. Be there, babe!

STOP SCROLLING. BROADWAY STARS ARE IMPROVISING ENTIRE MUSICALS AND WE NEED. YOU. THERE. 🎭🚨✨

No script. No rehearsal. No safety net. Just a Broadway baddie, a live band, the best musical improvisers in NYC, and whatever unhinged musical title YOU scream out of the audience. It gets written, scored, choreographed, and PERFORMED in real time.

Then it’s gone. FOREVER. Poof! We will never see it again. You will never see it again. It’s giving once-in-a-lifetime. It’s giving “I was there.” It’s giving Broadway, baby. 💅🎶

Fall season starts MONDAY, OCTOBER 5 @ 7PM. Get in the room where it happens, babies.

I’m SO excited to be rejoining the @Shitzprobe cast for their 5th anniversary show with special guest @lesliekritzer

In honor of my love for this group I’m gonna be posting some of my favorite SHITZPROBE moments! This is from the show that Christopher Sieber was our special guest star.

Hope you can see our upcoming show! And remember the best musicals are fully improvised. Always 😜

5️⃣ Fun & Dumb!!! One for the books!! Thank you to Brooklyn Comedy Collective for another great year. And special thanks to our special guest, Tony Award Nominee, Julia Mattison!!!

🫧 A tale of a creative daughter switched at birth, only to be returned to her family and placed into a bubble for protection. But with the help of Mr. Barnes, Mr. Noble, and Chloe- could she write her way out to freedom? Spoiler 🚨: she DID! And found love along the way! ❤️

🧜‍♀️☀️ Another wonderful summer @newmusicalslab in the books. We love teaching with these incredible actors from @cnumusicaltheatre. Watching them make big bold choices, releasing their fears, and embracing each other and themselves was truly magical. 🪄Thank you to @dougcarpentervoice and everyone @fergusoncenterforthearts for treating us with such kindness and love. 💕

And to our Bruce Bronstein, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for seeing us so clearly and having our backs so hard. We are so lucky to have a champion like you in our corner- and even luckier for the friendship that has blossomed over the last five years. We love you so much. (Babies- someone make him read this!) ❤️🥹❤️🥹❤️
