One of my favorites ❣️

Wheat and oat Flour + Coconut + Jaggery Laddoos (don't ask me the English name😂) l ain't one of those labels who will name the saree not a saree😂😂😂😂)

Threw in whatever I had left and sorted with dessert for a few days😋

One of the best things about growing up in India being part of festivities was the food, the snacks, the celebrations, the rituals.... and recreating just a bit of that with my kids is what makes it worth it..anndddd my 15yr old had no excuse to help making sweet stuff which he loves☺️

Have lots of pics on my phone.. might post later😉

Happy Monday guys✨

Visited #penang after 15 years🙌

Great food, much needed massage, very fulfilling temple hopping, walking to explore hidden gems, and zero shopping 😂 cos I had only 7kgs baggage 🤣🤣lol

Also visited two of my favourite #buddhist temples situated opposite each other, one is Thai and other is Burmese. They are popular tourist places but also known for their powers and faith🪷

If you are planning a visit to Penang do visit these temples Wat Chayamangkalaram (Thai Buddhist Temple) and the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple.

Ganpati Bappa Maurya 🎉✨
It's been a very spiritual month for me so far🪷
A Penang trip to visit my fav #buddhist temples and this week we welcomed Lord #ganesh (The Elephant God) worshipped not just in India but in many other countries and cultures in South East Asia with #thailand🇹🇭 being the most where I have seen the deity and local Thai worshippers.

This is a family tradition on my in-laws side and they are too old to carry on, so the legacy continues and we take turns with my bro in-law to host and be blessed. This year was our turn and we are grateful to have HIS presence in our home🙏

I am not a very religious person but if you were born and grew up in #mumbai #india , no matter what faith and belief you belonged to, the spirit, the energy and the chaotic celebrations across the city will be in your DNA... From house visits to the snacks and the traditional wear and the loudest music playing Ganesh Chaturthi Songs, the adrelinen levels are on a different high for the 11 days this festival is celebrated 🔥

Wishing all my family and friends here Happy Ganesh Festival and sharing my blessings with you all🙌🦚🕉️ taken in Singapore by @shivani2016

Road journeys, especially if you live in Singapore, are so refreshing 🙌 Did a road trip to #penang
Back there after 15 years😅 except this time it was 1 teen + 2 adults + 1 new adult trying to survive with each other😂

It was so good to just sit down and catch up on stuff and life with @imanfandi17 ❣️with some awesome views and delish food we both kinda over ate😅 omg the fish looked and tasted spectacular 🤌

I have watched Iman over the past few years, evolve and emerge as such a talented yet the sweetest, most humble and very hard working artist 💖 Seeing her take the #ndp stage this year was amazing , and her latest release ''IT IS' going places beyond Singapore 🎉

I can't decide which of Iman's song is my favourite 😀 Can't keep up 😆
