🥩 Surf & Turf Steak — definitely one of our favourites from the visit! This off-menu dish was packed with flavour and such a great combination of steak and seafood.
🥩 Lamb Chops — tender, flavourful and cooked beautifully, these were definitely a standout from the visit.
🍣 Rolls Platter — a must-try for sushi lovers, featuring a selection including salmon and avocado rolls as well as dragon rolls. A great platter to share and enjoy.

🍟 Loaded Waffle Fries — crispy, loaded and packed with flavour. With the perfect amount of sauce and toppings.
🧀 Loaded Mac & Cheese — creamy, cheesy and seriously indulgent. Proper comfort food and one of our favourite dishes from the visit!
🍔 Nashville Supreme Burger — juicy and packed with flavour. This was a great burger and definitely one we’d order again.
🍌 Banana Pudding — the perfect way to finish! Creamy, sweet and absolutely delicious. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you definitely need to try this!

🥧 Paratha Pie & Chips — a proper standout. The soft paratha paired with a rich, hearty butter chicken filling and crispy chips made this one our favourite dish!
🍕 Keema Pizza — such a great fusion of two favourites. The seasoned keema worked perfectly with the pizza, adding plenty of bold, spiced flavour to every bite. Definitely one we’d order again.
🥖 Nihari Sub — a unique twist on a classic, combining rich and slow-cooked nihari flavours with a soft sub. Hearty, indulgent and full of flavour.
☕️ Karak Chai — brewed to perfection. This is probably one of the best karak chai’s we’ve had in Birmingham!!

We recently got the chance to visit Pitfire Pizza in Leicester, a new halal New York-style pizza slice bar bringing a taste of Brooklyn to the UK. Their menu is all about authentic New York-style thin and crispy pizza, with everything from classic pepperoni to a variety of loaded slices.
Our highlights 👇
🍕 Garlic Bread — easily one of our favourites from the visit. Made with fresh in-house garlic butter, mozzarella, hot honey and parsley, it was packed with flavour and had the perfect balance of savoury, cheesy and sweet.
🍕 Mary’s Pepperoni — a proper standout. The combination of fresh shredded mozzarella, signature tomato sauce, pepperoni and that drizzle of hot honey gives this slice the perfect sweet and savoury balance. Definitely one we’d order again.
🍎 The Big Apple — the perfect way to finish the meal. A generous apple filling with a crumble topping, finished with white chocolate, raspberry sauce and glazed cherries.

🥞 Beef Rendang Roti Canai — easily our favourite dish. The flavours were amazing and the combination of the rich beef rendang with the roti canai worked so well.
🍗 Chicken Satay Bao Bun — really good, especially the bao itself which was so soft and fluffy. The satay filling worked well with the bun and made this one of the standout dishes for us.

We were recently invited down to Decorum, a fully halal, alcohol-free luxury steakhouse in Birmingham City Centre, to experience their menu. From premium steaks and succulent grilled meats to indulgent sides and refreshing mocktails, we got to try a selection of some of their signature dishes.
Our highlights 👇
🥩 French Trim Lamb Cutlets — easily one of our favourite dishes. The lamb was incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned, and you could really taste the quality of the meat. Every bite was tender and full of flavour.
🥩 Decorum Swiss Butter Steak — cooked to absolute perfection, with a rich, buttery finish that complemented the premium cut beautifully. A must-try for any steak lover.
🧀 Beef Mac & Cheese — rich, creamy, and packed with flavour. The tender beef paired perfectly with the cheesy sauce.
🍗 Chicken Parmesan — cooked perfectly with juicy chicken, a crispy coating, and just the right amount of cheese on top. Served with their signature chips, which were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the perfect accompaniment to the dish.

🍔 Smokin Smash — a satisfying burger featuring a juicy smash patty, grilled chicken and fries smothered in BBQ sauce. Packed with flavour and easily one of our favourites from the menu.
🍗 Signature Buttermilk Tenders — perfectly crispy and tender, we tried both the original and Korean BBQ flavours. The original was deliciously seasoned, while the Korean BBQ added a sweet, sticky glaze with plenty of flavour.
🍟 Zinger Loaded Fries — crispy fries topped with spicy zinger chicken and generous toppings. These were one of our favourites!
