“I didn’t just start selling foodstuff, I started selling a solution. I grew up seeing how stressful it can be for families to get quality, affordable foodstuff without breaking the bank. That’s why I birthed this business — to make sure that garri, beans, palm oil, rice and more reach your kitchen fresh, clean, and stress-free. This is more than business, it’s passion, it’s purpose, it’s service.” 💛 So if you are in Nigeria or abroad we gat u covered both in large quantity and personal consumption #export #makfoodmart #naijafood by @shodeindekemi

Dear Diary, Sometimes I wonder if people really know how hard it is to run a business. Behind every smile I post, behind every “please patronize me,” there are silent tears nobody sees. I wake up with hope. I carry heavy loads. I stock goods with excitement. I post consistently, waiting for that one call, that one message, that one order… but at the end of the day, nothing happens. No sales. Just silence. And that silence is loud. It eats me up inside. It whispers to me, “Maybe you’re not good enough… maybe you should quit.” And truthfully, there are moments I almost believed it. Because right now, I am not making sales. And in other words, I am not happy. 💔 I can’t even explain the pain of watching your dreams sit still while others seem to fly. The nights I cry quietly so no one knows. The days I pretend I’m fine when inside I’m breaking. The thoughts of giving up that come more often than I admit. But deep in my heart, I know this is not the end. My story is still being written. This is just a chapter, not the whole book. One day, I’ll look back at this moment and thank God I didn’t quit. One day, these tears will turn to testimony. 🌹 So for now, even in the sadness, I will keep pushing. Even in the silence, I will keep believing. Because I know… better days are coming. ✨ Please buy one or two from us...we promise to deliver quality as seen on our post #export #makfoodmart #naijafood #foodpacking by @shodeindekemi
Still need to show up regardless of what we have been through.....now let me gist u 💔 Business will test you in ways you never imagined. Some weeks ago, I was working on what would have been my biggest breakthrough in this foodstuff journey — a supply deal worth ₦5 million. The client wanted a large quantity of garri and beans, and I poured my whole energy into making it happen. I ran from market to market, pricing and negotiating. I spoke with local farmers, arranged for bulk purchases, and even had to buy in advance so as not to delay the delivery date Every night, I stayed up late calculating, planning logistics, and double-checking my contacts. I told myself, “This deal will change everything.” But life had other plans. Just when everything seemed set, the client backed out. 💔 After all the sweat, the expenses, the sleepless nights, the hopes I had built — it all slipped away in one phone call. I still remember holding my phone with tears in my eyes, asking myself, “Why now? Why me?” It wasn’t just about losing money. It was about losing months of sacrifice, about watching my hard work scatter like grains of garri in the wind. That kind of pain cuts deep. But here’s what I’ve come to realize: every setback is a setup for something greater. 🙏 Yes, I lost a ₦5 million garri and beans deal, but I didn’t lose my vision. I didn’t lose my dream. I didn’t lose the passion that made me start this business. 🌱 I believe this heartbreak is only preparing me for something bigger. My comeback will be louder than this setback. 💪 To anyone hustling out there, if you’ve ever lost an opportunity, a client, or a deal — don’t give up. The storm may look like it wants to drown you, but it’s actually watering the seeds of your success. 🌧️➡️🌸 For now, I keep pushing. For now, I keep believing. And I know that soon, the same garri and beans that made me cry will one day make me testify. 🙏✨ Please if my message appears on your profile buy 1 or 2 from me ....please I am begging #FoodstuffBusiness #GarriAndBeans #SetbackToComeback #EntrepreneurJourney #NeverGiveUp by @shodeindekemi
