POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is Nick Pope. A former UFO investigator for the UK Ministry of Defense and a huge voice for #UAP & #UFO research around the world. He was also a friend of mine.
Sadly, Nick passed away on April 6, 2026.
I knew Nick from our work together on the @historytv series, @ancientaliens, where he regularly shared his perspectives on all things unexplained.

These shots are some of my favorite memories with Nick.
1. Nick’s “serious” portrait - far from his clever, funny, and smiling spirit.
2. Nick at the table with @williamshatner for @ancientaliens
3. ET note in a cafe where we had breakfast near #Area51.
4. We covered #StormArea51 together in 2019, and celebrated with special edition Alien beers after we wrapped.

RIP NICK POPE

The destruction that happened to our Beautiful #altadena community is unimaginable. We’re all still processing this disaster in our own ways. Currently, I can’t stop watching videos of the aftermath.

I shot this on January 8 at 2PM as I drove through our neighborhood, only a few hours after the #eatonfire burned it all down.

Homes and businesses have been destroyed, lives have been lost, people are still missing, 1000s have to relocate, countless pets and wildlife are gone or displaced, and this landscape is forever scarred.

Currently the #eatoncanyonfire is 65% contained thanks to the brave efforts of so many.

My family and I continue to be surrounded by love and support, and words cannot express how we’re feeling about it all.

Others are hurting from this tragedy also. Please check my Stories for ways to help.

We are safe. We are together. That’s all that matters.

THIS WAS OUR HOME.

The Eaton Canyon Fires burned down our house, all belongings, and our entire neighborhood.

We are OVERWHELMED by the love, support & check-ins from our friends, family, and everyone around the world. YOU ARE ALL SO KIND. We are truly grateful & thankful for everything. We love you all. 🖤
