Haven’t drawn anything in ages so it was nice to sit down and spend Saturday afternoon listening to music and drawing these mudras and the different elements for Leyya, which she is using for her dissertation. Inshallah it is almost finished 😂

Panchamahabhuta - the five elements:
Akasha - Space/Ether
Vayu - Air
Agni/Tejas - Fire
Jala - Water
Privthi - Earth by @shootfrank

Q1 highlights; 1) Iceland for Leyya’s birthday with snowmobiling on a glacier (10/10 recommend), 2) meeting @lessthanjake at Brixton Academy after them being part of the soundtrack of my last 25(!) years, which was a bit like meeting a bunch of your mad uncles who roast you (do you use your hat to figure out when you need a haircut) 🖤, and finally 3) destroying the garden, preparing it for spring and the upcoming growing season! by @shootfrank

Feels like dangerous territory drawing your loved one when you can only do ridiculous cartoons 😅 but here’s to celebrating thirteen beautiful years together (yesterday), and to many, many more (providing the world doesn’t end). Love you all the much, mush post over. 🖤🖤🖤🖤 by @shootfrank

Happy new year chums! Today marks my 1,600th day of meditating every day since 16th August 2021. A commitment I made to myself after doing several years of inconsistent and sporadic practice. It’s been quite the journey, from the daily routine through to being on a meditation retreat where I had visions of a cauldron of spiders eyes bubbling with rat faces before they turned into blueberries that boiled over into a vast ocean of calm. There’s a lesson in there somewhere. Here’s to the next 1,600 😅 by @shootfrank

🐺 Weird pictures from my childhood, pt V.

Last one… years before Rumi was in our life, my family had these two brutes which led to a life long love of big dogs!

Still can’t draw little kid me, but honestly it’s ok because this is the most gangster picture of my life 😅 by @shootfrank

🌿 Weird pictures from my childhood, pt IV.

I can’t say for sure, but if I needed a picture to explain growing up in Norfolk, this might be it.

🐐 Weird pictures from my childhood, pt I.

Found a bunch of photos that I have no context or explanation for, so I’m drawing them for fun. Also I didn’t look like this as a child - for whatever reason I cannot draw that little kid 😂 by @shootfrank

Never been so disappointed at a show in my life. Whilst I’m mostly known as an elder emo (the whitest thing about me - thanks Sid 😂), I also have a huge love for hip hop, but on Tuesday I discovered that Mos Def, sorry, Yasiin Bey is as big of a egotistical diva prick as Axel Rose! I genuinely can’t imagine having the audacity to turn up 2 hours late, play a short set, deny refunds because ‘the event took place’, AND upon being booed say “What the fuck was all that about? There are no prisoners here, there is also a no-refund policy, the doors work both ways… if you’re not having a good time, there are other options. You don’t have to put up with these shenanigans.” Unreal attitude to have towards people who paid £56 to see you and wanted to have a good time celebrating your music over the last 3 decades! Absolute top c*nt! taken in O2 Academy Brixton by @shootfrank
