Consider this your first little HINT of fall… 🍁

Are we getting a little ahead of ourselves? Maybe.

Do we care? Nope. 🙂‍↔️

There’s still a few journals left! (but we all know they never stick around for long 😬)

A little shelf check… 📚

Seven journals. Seven very different personalities. ☺️

Choosing between them? Officially not my problem. 😉

A fellow journal maker @harejournals ordered a custom journal from us last month. We’ve since become friends and I had the idea to make each other a journal, a gift from one maker to another… 🩵

She loved the idea and before I could even pick out a cover for her, she had mine in the mail and on its way… 🥰

Thank you so much @amanda.j.balts.art, you are incredibly talented and your journals are BEAUTIFUL. I have a Hahnemühle sketchbook and absolutely LOVE the paper.

I can’t wait to finish yours! She’s well on her way… ☺️

Follow @harejournals and @amanda.j.balts.art (she posts her paintings, you can thank me later 😉)

In my defense… I need them for work. 😬

It’s a business expense. 😉

Well… you certainly know how to keep a Monday interesting. ☺️

Seriously, THANK YOU to everyone who ordered. Seeing our journals find their people never gets old. 🫶🏼

Starting with this collection, every journal now goes home with it’s original book’s pages.📜

The shelves aren’t empty just yet either… there are several journals from this collection still available. 📚

Now, back to packaging. Apparently “ships next business day” means we actually have to ship them next business day. 😉✌🏼

So excited to receive my first @shopbrushandbinding journal! It’s absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to paint in it. And the nod to me on the last page was very clever. If you know you know. #journal #journaling #watercolor #watercolorartist by @shopbrushandbinding

Could I have made it work? Probably.
Could I have lived with it? Absolutely not.

“Close enough” has never really been my thing…

But if I’m being honest, the replacement is WAY cuter anyway 😏

I know we’re usually sold out, but guess what?? 😉

**edit: Two watercolor journals survived the drop-day chaos and are still hanging out with us…

and to be honest, they make EXCELLENT company 🥰
