POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A not so subtle nod of our Modern European heritage was brought to life in the entryway with the installment of this 17th century tapestry. Custom wrought iron handrails span the stairwell (available to shop on our site), vintage stair runners and plaster walls created my favorite transformation in Project 1994.

With a very small split level entryway, making an impact as soon as you walked in the front door became a great challenge not only for visual impact but practical needs such as storage. I’m a strong believer, that challenges (in design or in life) produce some of the most beautiful outcomes. Maybe that’s why this became my favorite makeover?

Almost every piece we used here is vintage, and the rest were custom designed to fit the space.

Can you guess which three pieces are custom and not vintage?
