Last week at Islanders Beach @hhifirerescue and @shorebeachservice collaborated on a training session to hone in on lifesaving skills and communication between the agencies. In tandem, we practice the skills essential in a code X: submerged victim scenario.

Lifeguards and beach patrol rely on their Fire Rescue partners heavily in these scenarios and we couldn’t be more thankful to have @hhifirerescue having our backs on the beach in times like these, and many others.

Thank you to @hhifirerescue for offering up your knowledge expertise and feedback to our guards in CPR and other lifesaving operations. We look forward to continued teamwork and great communication to maintain our common goal of keeping Hilton Head Island safe.
