highly recommend a wander round town #nq #ancoats #newislingtonmarina to enjoy the brilliant @brits @wildinart art trail, curated by #manchester legend @stan_chow. there are 21 pieces, roughly half by graphic designers, half by street art muralists. pick up your @therodeomag zine from @unitomstore and other venues for more info on the art and the @brits awards coming to @thecooplive manchester for the first time. art trail on until mid march.

Quick day trip to @venuecymru to see @nationaltheatrewales production of #ourtown, fabulous and moving performances all round, loved the staging with simple planks and ladders and balletic choreography. Extra bonus bumping into the Welsh dragon incarnate himself @mablilyradad in the car park afterwards where he very graciously let us take a photo with him. Thank you, diolch yn fawr for making our day Michael.

Go if you get the chance, it’s touring.

Fab pre theatre lunch in @dylansrestaurants too!

There’s a bacon connection!! I’m here because my great grandfather was transferred from the @coopuk bacon factory in Tralee to the one in Manchester. Have a look at the old CWS building on Hanover Street over looking Sadler’s Yard & you’ll spot a Tralee cartouche.
Big group of young smiley apprentice bacon butchers explored Manchester with me after visiting their Lancs factory and enjoying a hard night’s karaoke the night before. Plenty of red bull being drunk during the tour 🤣
Ended the tour in @samschophouse_ for some @jwleesbrewery lager and #boddingtons.

Then an intimate Manchester music tour with footie mad wine selling Americans with impressive @manutd knowledge. Great game to come over for. Keep up the good work @carras16. ❤️🤍🖤 Ended that tour in the #peverilofthepeak with some @brightsidebeer and @millstonebrewery pints.

Love the variety that #tourguidelife gives. 😃

The new set in @rxtheatre for #road looks exciting! Looking forward to seeing it next week.

Enjoyed a four hour mega walking tour exploring life in nineteenth century industrial Manchester with a couple from New Jersey.
They loved seeing a first edition of Elizabeth Gaskell’s Mary Barton at the @porticolibrary, published in 1848, all about that very subject. Dropped them off at @mackiemayor.
I headed for a well earned curry feast at #thisandthatcafe 😋.
Fab to see some @wilko.official paste ups opposite the entrance.
