"Tangled in the dusk was the first ever poem or story that I wrote and posted on Instagram after @anshulm291 helped me create the font and from day, i kept scribbling and I remember writing it 5 years ago, subconsciously mentioning everything I wanted and posting it in 2020, I craved every bit of tangled in the dusk and somehow I even got it in march 2023. It did ended up in a bitter sweet lane, so here is all about the 15th" - @shstrike ☘

It's been 4 days since you passed away, and it's been 4 years since you were with me. I never knew that you will just swoosh away, I thought you will get back up like always and with some time and meds, you will be fine. Never knew that you were with us for long and it was time. I remember when we got you, I used to be like.

"Pet aisa ho jo lick kre masi ma"

And I had to stop and scold you sometimes on licking and you will just bow down, start digging under my palm, and fake bites to get more head pats and belly rubs. It's been a long time, isn't it? You went away with me on the same scooty you came on, you went away in the same lap you were on. Suddenly all those tales my Nani used to tell made sense. All souls will find a way to be with the souls they want to be and how they want to be and you proved it. Thank you for waiting for me to get back home and hold you until you wanted, thank you for making me cry on the floor where you wanted.

I used to tease and push you away from the kitchen door, but that day I collapsed there and talked with you until you listened. I knew it was time even in the morning when I held you but I denied it even though my tears knew and went on and on. The only thing we never did was sleep cause I used to be scared what if I roll lol? But during these 5 days, you did that too, slept for hours like baby just like when you came. I did everything with you that I could. We ate everything that we could. I just hope that you knew that I loved you more than anything snowball and I just hope that you were a bit happy that I was there with you. You didn't lick me for a week when you were sick but thank you for licking me when I was crying with you on the floor and I knew it was time, thank you for being close to my heart and soul when you went away. I just hope you weren't scared when you were with me, I just hope your wait for me was worth it for your soul. It did hurt me like hell when I had to say. "Tu soja snowball it's okay. Tu mat seh itna, I'll take care of myself and you love me enough to cry and miss you. Nonsense!! I stomped the table with my bare hands, crushing the last can of my redbull in a hilarious way of my serious tone. You know how big of an excuse that is? Like why in another verse, I mean every story that exists today, Every promise that was meant today and is kept, Every fate that is tangled to some happy smiles and kisses are those who tried to make it in this universe. In this life and we hear about them and bound or tales to them in comparison.

So god forbid, I hear it again and punch your face in this lifetime.

With the sips of your made-up words down to my nerves, I mumbled the above under my breath, With a stare down to my soul. Was it my years of loving all those false faces and arms around myself? Leading to not believing a single word coming out of your bloody lips, even though they were against my chest just last night weren't they?
"You don't even got nobody bein' honest with you"
With my stuttering lips against those odds against hope, I, too, slept with the ghost of your shades. Resting my head against those pillars of all those faces and lies, I once echoed how everything would be alright with a pat on my shoulder.

I remember the day I learned to swim and how scary it can be on a pitch-black night with endless waves pulling you away. I learned slowly, with a smile, to flap my feet and stay still, remembering all of your texts and making each of my faces smile. But now, in those backdoors of my abandoned self, I tried swimming, I tried looking up to the sun, but still couldn't fathom that everybody needed me.

"Rango has been one of my favorite films ever, especially due to this scene where when I saw clint eastwood. Making me remember gorillaz and his legacy.
