the making of concept cafe

a visual, sonic, social space we built for so many creatives
in the middle of a torrential downpour i might add but love seeing what’s in my head come to life

can’t get over this

designed our first magazine to literally feel like you were holding and reading the app inside out - lmk if you want one

music, vibes, doors open, overcast, sometimes downpour

the whole thing was super visual, custom for the walls

our barista kept everyone caffeinated

literally painted the menu 10pm the night before but it had to be done to match what i wanted

picked up for the magazine table

somehow got these on before the rain started but im so doing these everywhere we go now

:)

this magazine was literally SO MANY HOURS of work, rishi designed 30 pages, and we put it in so late that didn’t even know if it would come in time

love having friends on the decks

btsssssssss

oh and yuh we planned the whole thing using concept ofc andddd if you can notice the format, app dropping soon :) taken in New York, New York by @shubhii_

yesterday was our one year mark building concept full time

when I decided, i didn’t really know what the next year, or five, was gonna look like, just that i knew i wanted to build something bigger than me with creatives and artists. we went thru a lottttt of changes, ups downs, all the way to literally starting completely from scratch 9 months in. a year feels like a long time, even tho it flew by so quickly lol, but it feels like we’re just getting started

full circle with this falling a few days before we roll out the new concept2.0, here are some favs from year one
