Hey, you wanna watch a billion stars while zipping a coffee, this is one of the spots to enjoy that moment.

📍 Abudhabi, Al Quaa

For a long time, this chase remained unchecked on my bucket list. We decided to take a risk last Friday and travelled three hours to one of the darkest spots in Abu Dhabi desert from Dubai. Despite the stormy weather conditions that occured earlier to the trip, which gave me a delimma to go or not, but it was the calmest weather I had ever experienced. A bit of a light pollution in the horizon yet the Milky Way was clearly visible to the naked eye.

This image was taken on my Sony camera, and I'd never been worried about the noise in low light situations like these. It's a single-frame shot and I simply refined the basic exposure levels in curves and then enhanced it in @luminar_global

Lightning strikes Burj Khalifa during stormy weather.
16 April 2024

📍 Dubai, Jaddaf

My most memorable storm chase ever. After multiple unsuccessful tries and restless nights, we finally managed to photograph the lightning strikes on the majestic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Some of them were so intense that I was momentarily blinded by the onslaught of light.

The previous chase was a letdown, waiting 8 long hours alongside my photography partners yet achieving nothing. I therefore embarked on last night's journey with minimal expectations. However, to my astonishment, the lightning had already begun by then. In the middle of torrential rain, I set up my camera in the boot of my car to document the spectacle
