If you had told me a year ago as a pottery hobbyist that I'd be making custom pottery for a James Beard nominated chef duo, I would have laughed! Who knew that my tiered fruit bowls would catch Chef @rishimanojkumar 's eye and be a part of his vision for seafood platters. What an incredible feeling seeing my handmade pottery at new restaurant @marielachicago . It was a long process of trial and error (swipe for some BTS), and seeing my art serve a purpose and give a home to delicious food feels surreal. Thank you everyone for your kind words and support throughout and for Chef for trusting me with this project ❤️ taken in Chicago, Illinois by @sicachong

It’s 1939, and we’re sailing down the Gambia River… but who can you really trust aboard this riverboat? 🕵🏻‍♀️⚓️ Such fun unraveling secrets, forming alliances, and uncovering motives at our murder mystery party! Huge thank you to AJ for meticulously crafting every material and detail and to all our wonderful friends for diving headfirst into character! 🫶📸 by @sicachong
