What a DREAM day at the grand opening of Portland’s Dream Plaza yesterday on SE Taylor and SE 9th! ✂️✨🛹🛼🏀 I was honored to speak, cut the ribbon, and celebrate this incredible new community space with so many amazing neighbors.

Even sweeter— I got to see some of my former students. My heart is v full. 💜

Dream Plaza will now be popping *every* Tuesday evening until winter, thanks to a beautiful partnership that includes @pbotinfo @centraleastside @dreambig.pdx .

This is what investing in public space and people-powered placemaking looks like!!!
