I agree honestly FUCK IT. It needs to be brought down, otherwise it will take us down with us.

A system that segregates, propagates discrimination, fascism, stereotypes, suffering in the name of development, creates inequality, oppressive hierarchy, strips your right to take a break, dangles free will like it exists, makes you turn a blind eye to suffering, not just preying on human being but ultimately nature itself for capital gain, honestly should not exist. That's what wrong with the system and there's so much more and ever corner of it reeks of it and that's why FUCK IT. If it did it to someone else it will happen to you also, if they did it to someone they will do it to you also, if they let someone else do it they will let it happen to you also.

Be compassionate, be mindful, be kind, be empathetic, what goes around comes around.

We need each other more than ever, the world needs us to stand together and humanity and nature should come first not DANGLED DESIRES.

Stockholm - A Temporary Goodbye

Navigating life through its differences, moving from place to place, searching for somewhere to belong somewhere to rest, to feel at peace. And then, finding Stockholm. Finding a new life, starting over, and slowly turning it into something that feels like home.

And just when it becomes a new normal, it is time to say goodbye?

But no this is not goodbye. It is a bittersweet pause, an intermission (badammm). A life that was created here is not being left behind, nor is a door being closed. It is a life waiting for her to return, while she steps away to grow, to experience, and to come back stronger.

It is incredibly rare to find a place that aligns so deeply with your soul a place you would willingly fight your way back to. She left a piece of herself in Stockholm, but she also carried a piece of Stockholm with her.

She has anchored hope in this place, so that her connection to Stockholm does not fade into a memory, but remains a possibility!! a life still waiting to be lived, and a place and also the place full of people waiting to welcome her home.

An ouroboros motif, imagery of endless destructive cycles of loopy loops, overthinking, self doubt and internal conflicts.

Breaking patterns start by acknowledging your own dark side and destructive ways but it can also feel like you are stuck or going in circles. And sometimes a small shift in perspective is all it takes to see that you are not spiralling, you are a storm following the circular silence. (An embodiment of perspective).

Unseen? Unheard? Disoriented? Confused? Dissatisfied? Exhausted? Incomplete? Disengaged? Despaired? Detached? Ambiguous? Uncertain? Absurd? Bleak? Indifferent?. well that's not surprising at all!. The attached language - not done enough, too much, walking away, not playing along, no clear plan, lack of purpose, stripped of hope... Well I get it confusion is unsatisfying.

An animal that's simply gone the "wrong way" doesn't offer much to hold on to. For human observers - left with randomness! A dead end! Incomplete feelings, even when it's perfectly adequate. Well sounds like, projection to me. Because intention is powerful. You view the movement as a mistake, it becomes something that can't be related to, narrated, and shared either. This says far less about the penguin he is, than it does about the world.

Somewhere far behind him was safety somewhere ahead was uncertainty, but for him the first time, the direction was his. Maybe he wasn't walking away from the world. Maybe he was walking towards learning, because sometimes the ones who don't fit the path are the only ones brave enough to choose a new one, and even if he could not fly, he would climb the highest mountains so that he might touch the sky. He is not wandering anymore, he is not leaving, he is not disoriented, he definitely knows what he is doing and it makes sense. He keeps walking and you have a place to walk with him. Id follow him.

Hahahah, I am so glad to have framed his movement as chosen rather than mistaken, because it's now something that can be related to, narrated and shared. Turning ambiguity into direction and uncertainty into a story with emotional shape is my chosen direction as an artist. A medium for people to tell their stories. You have a place with me to tell your stories. You are relatable, you are narratable, your story is worth sharing.

This isn't a lesson or a warning or advice. As @sidd_walcott would say it's a user manual for moments that invites interpretation, a way of thinking about conformity.

A Momentous Milestone Story
101 lines. 4 mm apart. 6 hours around a wrist.
The piece almost never happened.Two stencil transfers failed. Without a printer, each failure meant tracing the entire design by hand again. I went through three tattoo studios looking for help with nothing more than getting the stencil to stick. Everyone refused. The fourth studio was different. @hamen.art.tattoo listened to the story, helped get the stencil on, gave me spare stencils, a water bottle, and enough advice to get home without ruining it. Tattooing it was another matter. A couple of hours in, I was convinced I couldn't finish it. Bored, frustrated, and staring at a problem too lazy, to solve, I walked back into @hamen.art.tattoo studio hoping he would complete it for me. He said no. Not because he was dismissive, but because he had already told me he doesn't do pieces like this. Instead, we talked. I showed him some of my other work. He looked at the tattoos, looked at me, and said, "You can grow fast." I didn't understand. In the tattoo world, it meant I had potential. Coming from someone with 17 years of experience, those words carried more weight than he probably realised. Thank you @hamen.art.tattoo That day, I left with only one goal, finishing the tattoo. Four hours later, back at home, I did. But for the future, it was going to be fixed 1 line at a time considering the imperfections and making a post only after that cause, tattoos are supposed to be always perfect right¡¿ But 16 tattoos, countless conversations, and many perspectives later, it remains imperfect. A life project and now my lines of affirmation too. Hush Hush about it 🤫.
@sidd__walcott loves it exactly as it is. Me? I still don't know whether unfinished business is something to fix or something to live with.
