What we’re serving lately:

“Bouillabaisse” of gently cooked fluke, crispy-skin snapper, braised octopus and leeks, & saffron-crab bisque. With a baguette slathered in rouille. On special until it’s gone!

Fluke carpaccio - gooseberry chutney, honeycrisp soy

Apples and Endives - honeycrisp, endives, celery, & toasted pecan vinaigrette

I love the food this time of year; the produce is refreshingly new, a mix of summer and late fall crops, and a it’s a treat to start cooking the familiar sweet and spiced comforts that we haven’t had since before the spring. And as always, burgers and fries stay on the menu.

Our first few dishes of the fall are beginning this week as the weather around here gets colder 💙

Mushrooms fricassee - a collection of local mushrooms, dressed with an herby vinaigrette and hidden with a shroud of bearnaise.

The baguette - a labor of love since we opened. Began the night before and baked every day right before service, lately they’re served with a healthy amount of garlic and shiro miso butter. taken in Queen Village by @sideeyephilly

Back it at this Monday! The happy hour cocktail this week is a Brown Butter Hanky Panky. Delightfully named, this beauty features Gin, Sweet Vermouth, and Brown Butter washed Fernet Branca, and is a perfect cocktail as it starts to cool off outside.

By the bottle tonight we have Nicolas Reau ‘Ange’ on special, a Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley. $30 a bottle, get one to share, get one for yourself. We don’t judge.
