We had an old tree teetering on the brink of falling down, and the City of South Bend’s VPA Forestry department answered the call! Shout out to South Bend’s forester Brent Thompson and Samantha for being so responsive. And to my O.G. director Mike “Sven” Ferguson for classing me up by introducing me to this Nat King Cole classic #sbvpa #cityofsouthbend #southbend #southbendforestry #theotherguys by @sidewinder3000

Aislinn got her first “real”* haircut yesterday at The Beehive Salon & had a blast! She did her research, looked at tons of photos online, and did a bang up job of translating what she wanted (a chill “shaggy mullet”) to her new stylist, Lauren, who she definitely vibed with. Lots of squeals, OMGs!, and “that is SO CUTEs”. So proud of this monkey! ❤️ (Un-mute the music for the full 70’s vibe). #haircut taken in Beehive by @sidewinder3000

Carson Kelly was asked when he knew Andrew Kittredge was on pace for an immaculate inning, and his response was classic… “Sinker, sinker, sliderrr???” #Cubs #ChicagoCubs #CarsonKelly #AndrewKittredge #ImmaculateInning #Reds #Marquee taken in Wrigley Field by @sidewinder3000

So proud of how the kids pushed themselves to try new, challenging things in order to make Mother’s Day special. Such cool (not so) little humans. by @sidewinder3000

There’s nothing quite like waking up on a spring birthday to find the most colorful bouquet of flowers left by your amazing partner, getting a huge hug from her mom, finding a Birthday Bingo card made by Mils (to bring to Wrigley for the Cubs game tonight) and then realizing it can all be taken away like ‘that’ by Nando The Flower Devouring Demon Boy. Feeling lucky & grateful. by @sidewinder3000

One of the great honors of being a girl dad is the moment you get asked to French braid her hair on the floor of the 7:27am South Shore to Chicago. That’s also when the terror takes hold because you thought “French braiding” just meant “braiding”. Unfortunately there are no YouTube tutorials for French braiding the hair of a naturally caffeinated wiggle-worm on a bouncing, shaking train, but after a few fits & starts I muddled my way though to a do that was at least one rung above bedhead. Your feedback is welcomed… by @sidewinder3000
