Over the course of the Run-A-Thon, our brothers ran 569.85 miles and raised $15,369 for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.

We are extremely proud of every brother who pushed himself throughout the challenge, and we are just as grateful to every sponsor, parent, alumnus, friend, and supporter who pledged money and helped make this possible. by @sigmachiwiu

We are honored to receive this plaque recognizing our chapter’s efforts in supporting the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Over the past year, our chapter has worked hard through fundraising events, individual donations, and continued support from our friends, families, alumni, and community to raise over $20,000 for this cause. Thank you to every person who donated, participated, shared our fundraisers, or supported our brothers throughout the year. We truly appreciate everyone who helped us reach this milestone.

We are proud of what we accomplished and look forward to continuing our support of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. by @sigmachiwiu

Introducing the Iota Omega Pledge Class!

We are proud to welcome 16 outstanding gentlemen as they begin their pledge process with the Iota Omicron Chapter of Sigma Chi.

Each of these men was selected because of the character, values, and potential we believe they will bring to our brotherhood. We are excited to watch them learn, grow, build lifelong friendships, and discover what it truly means to be a Sigma Chi.

We couldn’t be more excited for this group and everything that lies ahead for them. by @sigmachiwiu

The Sigma Chi Run-A-Thon is officially set for Wednesday, September 30 through Saturday, October 3 at midnight!

Throughout the Run-A-Thon, brothers will be running to raise money in support of the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Miles will be tracked through Strava, with brothers submitting proof of each activity. We’ll also be sharing mileage totals, fundraising progress, and updates throughout the event on our Instagram Stories.

Want to support a brother? Reach out to any Sigma Chi member or pledge, to give an amount you’re willing to donate for every mile they complete. Donations can be made through cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, or directly through our Huntsman fundraising link.

And one of our brothers is taking the challenge even further as he plans to complete a full marathon during one of the days.

Every mile and every financial pledge from you, will help us continue supporting the fight against cancer.

If you have any questions about sponsoring a brother, donating, or how the Run-A-Thon works, reach out to a member of Sigma Chi. by @sigmachiwiu
