We’ve officially surpassed $1,000,000+ raised for Huntsman Cancer Foundation this academic year! Thanks to the dedication of Sigma Chi brothers and sweethearts across North America, we’re making incredible progress toward our $5,500,000 fundraising goal for the 2026–27 academic year.

Each event hosted, contribution made, and volunteer effort given strengthens our impact. Together, we’re proving what can happen when our brotherhood rallies behind a cause greater than ourselves. Let’s keep our efforts going! 🔥 Tag your Derby Days chairman below to keep our momentum going! ⬇️ #SigmaChi #HuntsmanCancerFoundation #DerbyDays

For the past 3 years, Sigma Chi has become so much more than just an organization I support. It has given me so many meaningful memories, friendships, and the opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself and the WIU community. Being able to now serve as their sweetheart makes this experience even more special to me.

Cancer is something that has touched so many lives, which is why the Huntsman Cancer Institute holds such a special place in my heart. I’m so excited to announce that as my sweetheart term begins, I’ll be participating in this year’s Sigma Chi Sweetheart Challenge! Sweethearts across the country are coming together to raise money for cancer research and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

My goal is to raise $1,500 by May 2027, and I would love your help! Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference and will also count toward Sigma Chi’s fundraising goal at WIU.

If you’re able to donate or share my page, I would be so incredibly grateful! 🩵💛

Here is the link to donate, and it will also be in my bio: https://hope.huntsmancancer.org/gentoend/kylah-kurek-sweetheart-challenge
