this stop in san diego was a special stop for me!! even though it was brief, i got to reconnect in person with an old friend from grade school. thank you @downmemorelaine for the warm hospitality!! 🥹

it’s been so fun to link up with so many special people. a huge thank you to the girlies i got to meet up with during my west coast tour LOL 😂 it really meant so much to me!! after SD, i won’t be meeting anyone else, so more solo days for me. some days will be exciting, whereas others will be chill or full of work. the star gazing though was EVERYTHING! sadly no iphone could do those stars justice.

since SD was a port day, that means calligraphy class will resume tomorrow. hope to see you there? 🫶🏽

his favorite scent + your anniversary = doesn’t get more personal than this.

this @pradabeauty cologne bottle was the perfect canvas for a personalized hand engraving by a calligrapher, making it 1 of 1, never to be exactly replicated again. talk about personal and unique, something he’s guaranteed NOT to have in his collection (yet!)

this socal heat wave in OCTOBER was no jokeeeee - our original plan was to get in-n-out and then eat it at a park, but that was quickly off the table with this insane weather. had the best day seeing my girls @dear.ashleyb and @inkandrhythmcalligraphy during my day in la. a fabulous way to celebrate filipino american heritage month btw with a few of my favorite ladies 💞

day 4 out of 20!!

first cruise is going well!! it’s been fun doing something different. have been learning i need to update things and be ready to pivot as needed. it’s been fun being known as the “calligrapher” on board and people seem to be enjoying the faux calligraphy class! and we’ve only used a pencil! so i can’t wait for them to start the dip pen calligraphy portion and see how they feel about that. i’ve had quite a few kind students express how inspired they feel - which is the best feeling. excited to see how the students feel by the end of the cruise.

not pictured: me forgetting my room key in my room at 7 in the morning 🥲

i sooo wanna record in the buffet but that’s too chaotic for me i think. but classes are going well! i’m implementing new things for each new class to see what works best for my students. been getting lots of great feedback on how much people are enjoying calligraphy classes on this cruise!!
