I’m crying inside Olives & Plates. OUR WEBSITE IS LIVE! 🥹😭

I’ve been running a PR agency close to 8 years without a website 🫢

8 years of Marketing Managers saying to their procurement department, “Trust me bro! Add them as a supplier, they will deliver on the work even without a website.”😮‍💨

8 years of you saying, “I don’t know what they do but they do PR right.”😉

I really thought I would get excited when this day eventually happens, when our Web Developer clicks “publish” to our website, but instead I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. 🙏🏽

I’m grateful to the media, Influencers, clients, employees and service providers who made Amplified PR what it is today.

Lest I forget, this PR agency has been built on the back of community and your generosity. 😭

I always joke and say it would take some big money for me to leave this beautiful industry of ours!

It takes going to an award show for you to understand why we love what we do.

It takes going to an award show for you to understand why we can be at groove replying to a client’s email about reverts that need to be made before 9 in the morning 😭

It takes going to an award show for us to justify the 9pm calls from a client who’s getting cold feet the night before the campaign launch day, telling you that they’re not too confident about the work, and now you have to be their Therapist on that call.😡

The Bookmark awards reminded me why I love this industry so much. My love for Advertising / Marketing / PR industry runs deep and no amount of money would ever make me pivot! ♥️

Your unwavering conviction that it will work out is the only thing that makes it work out.📌

What you’re able to materialise will always be proportional to the degree of your conviction.

The more conviction you have the more likely what you want will manifest.

Let’s not fall into the trap of thinking conviction as something mystical or unattainable.

The erosion of self trust and conviction happens when you repeatedly engage in actions you want to stop but continue doing anyway.🤯
