lowkey i have an associates degree….

these last few years have been so intense and stressful but it’s been a huge blur. i felt like i wasted my first two years at fit in a program i had no interest in (lore drop i actually started fit in fall 2021 im honorary unc). being in fbm felt like i wasnt following the path i should have taken and that fit me best. ive always been a creative person and art was just natural to me.

doing a minor in film was the stepping stone for me to switch over to the photography program, which was the best decision i could ever make because i met so many likeminded people and friends that made the rest of my time at fit worthwhile. although it felt like i had to restart my journey in higher education, im so proud of myself for finding my purpose and continuing on even though i wanted nothing more than to give up when it felt like the odds were against me. as a first generation american and a child of immigrants who never got the chance to see college, im immensely happy for who ive become and im so excited to continue this adventure into my bachelor’s at cuny ⭐️ by @sil.aca

2025 you have been so lovely yet so horrible to me. so invigorating yet so intense. so beautiful yet so bitter. there’s so much that happened this year that it only makes me excited and terrified for what’s to come in the next year

year in review: i started 2025 meeting the love of my life. in the beginning of the year, i moved on from my harmful behaviors and made changes in my career and lifestyle. many times i had to contemplate the importance of certain relationships in my life but i made new connections and rekindled old ones in the process. i went back to therapy this year after avoiding it for so long. a lot of this year was a lesson of growth, self-reflection, self-preservation, and coping through pain that i suppressed

there’s a lot of people in my life that are not pictured here because i don’t take enough photos rip :,) but that’s something i want to challenge myself to do in the next year. in 2026, i hope to do more with myself, my relationships, my art. i want to be kinder to myself, let myself be me and make more mistakes without punishing myself for them
