SILK was founded by five collectors who wanted to give artists more than occasional sales and scattered support.

Our mission is to provide the strategic, creative, production, and community support to shape an artist’s vision from concept to final form, and place it within the right cultural context.

We are a long-term partner, providing representation and working closely together to develop collections, exhibitions, and independent projects.

We collaborate with galleries, museums, cultural institutions and brands to develop artist-led commissions, public programmes, and IP-driven projects where authorship and artistic intent are central.

Through Silk Magazine, we provide industry insights, features and stories on the artists and events shaping contemporary art.

As the art world descends on London for Frieze, we’re looking a little further afield at some of the exhibitions opening soon, and already underway, that we’re most excited to see.

From Vera Molnár’s experiments with generative art in London to artificial creativity in Aarau and life beyond algorithms in Suzhou, here’s what’s on our radar this October.

“I don’t want my future to depend entirely on what I happen to be doing right now; I want it to depend on my ability to evolve.”

For @Fvckrender, the ability to evolve has become central to how he thinks about his future as an artist.

It’s an idea that runs throughout @Nina_Knaack’s conversation with him, from teaching himself 3D around restaurant shifts to building Foil Gallery, a space where his thinking around digital art has expanded into the experience created around it.

As his practice continues to take on new forms, the conversation offers a glimpse into how Fvckrender thinks about longevity and self-direction whilst retaining the freedom to evolve.

How Paribu Art meets the city

In Kadıköy, a 1,250-square-metre LED surface wraps around three sides of @ParibuArt, carrying the work happening inside the venue out onto the streets around it.

Opened in late 2025, Paribu Art grew from Paribu’s long-standing support of culture in Türkiye into a space of its own. Together with @ParibuStudio, it has become a place for artists to experiment with how work can move across performance, technology and public space.

Ahead of our private event together ahead of presenting @fvckrender at @ContemporaryIstanbul, we asked the Paribu Art team about how the space began, what they’ve learned from its first year and the collaborations they want to build next.

The human urge to organise the world

For centuries, we’ve created systems to make sense of the objects around us. Frames, categories, movements and museums have all shaped how art is understood and encountered.

Before many of those systems settled into place, the ‘Wunderkammer’, or ‘cabinet of curiosities’, brought together objects whose relationships were still being discovered.

This history became an important reference point for ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, our upcoming presentation of @fvckrender at @ContemporaryIstanbul, where forms conceived digitally will appear across moving image and physical objects within the same space.
