We took a nice short roadtrip to one of mom’s favorite hotels, the historic Mission Inn. It’s has a great old world charm, with beautiful mature landscaping. We also went to “The Huntington” Gardens and library, to view some of the spring flowers! Definitely a bucket list kinda place if you love and appreciate all kinds of mature beautiful specimen plants from all over the world, hope they don’t mind, I peed on a few… I’m tuckered out.. Taking one last ride…., my dad sold my antique pedal car. 🙁 But I think it’s gonna be under the tree🎄 for another little boy to play with, so that makes me kind of happy!😊 Plus, I’ve kind of been hoping for an upgrade!!😉🛩️ by @silly_bentley

Bentley’s mom here. This is a tribute to our favorite little adventure Pom Theo. We never met him, but we felt as though we had through all of his stories and post. We became friends with his mom Anna through messages and shared stories. I’ve learned so much about Bergen and Norway, and have dreamed of traveling there to meet Theo and his family. When Theo past, I was in shock. To me he was the strongest, healthiest Pom ever. He had a huge heart and a passion for life and love. When I read that he had died, I broke down crying at work. It hit me so hard, and I think a lot of it had to do with my sadness for his moms, because I knew what he meant to them and how much this loss would break their hearts. Even now I’m still crying and I share their sadness.
I think people sometimes miss their dogs more than some people they loose in their lives. I think it’s because a dogs love is constant, unwavering and unconditional. They will never let you down, they will never be a no-show. They are there with you during your quiet moments, your low moments and they celebrate with you during your triumphs. All they want is to be with you, can you say that about many people? Today, marks the 6 month anniversary of Theos passing, I still think about him and their family, and I look forward to seeing the post that Anna still shares of him. I’m sorry you are still missing Theo so much, Bentley told me I better pay attention to him more, because his life is short and every day is a gift. We miss you Theo!😢💔🙁 @adventuretheo.

Headed up the mountain to Flagstaff, AZ. It’s about two hours north of the valley and Scottsdale. The temperature difference today was 109° in Scottsdale and 77° in Flagstaff, well worth the drive. We had a great day today and drove up to the ski resort at about 9500 feet. We took a little hike and did some exploring. I’m not much for hiking, I mostly like carrying. On the way back to the hotel we stopped and mom got a milkshake, and I got whip cream!! Beautiful day! ⛰️🥾🌲🥤🍦🌞 taken in Flagstaff, Arizona by @silly_bentley

Yesterday we took a tour of the Marchfield air Museum in Riverside California. It was pretty cool and much more interesting than we expected. My dad wanted to go because that’s where his mom met his dad at a dance in 1945, so no dance, no Dad, no marriage… You get the idea. My mom was interested too because they have this big exhibit all about World War II and the Doolittle raid on mainland Japan. My mom’s grandfather was killed on that mission serving on the USS hornet that delivered the 16 planes to the secret mission. He was killed by a Japanese zero that crashed into the crows nest where he was stationed. She got to look at the model of the ship and the crows nest and see all the information about that special mission. We lost a dear friend from our IG family, this beautiful boy was Fenway. He was strikingly handsome, and he had the deepest, kindest, soulful brown eyes. It may have been his wispy, beautiful mane that caught our attention, but it was his sweet, loving spirit that captured our hearts. I know his mom is missing him terribly, and we cannot truly ease her pain. But I do think that the dozens of heartfelt tributes and comments that have been shared, must make her heart swell with love. We’ve gotten to know Norma and her boys, Fenway, and Prairie dog through their Instagram account, and we’ve learned to cherish all the funny costumes, witty stories and funny side eyes. Fenny you will be missed, but not forgotten by this community. Have fun in heaven, with all the pals that we’ve lost these last couple years, and wait for your mama on the other side of the rainbow bridge. 💔🌈🤗 @prairiedogsmiles #fenwayforeverinourhearts by @silly_bentley

I don’t understand why mom gets so upset when we go to the gas station?? 😠 I can hear her under her breath, saying something about five dollars a gallon….
