Recent days in Shanghai | 近日上海 📸📸 I Visited a chinese supplier for the first time | Office of a socks manufacture Showed them our brand 101 Sports Club, talked about product options, details and they showed me some of their own samples (next slide) ➡️ Dear Silvan :) - (if you know you know) Quality is great, but they are tooooo long hahah. Of course we‘ll do shorter ones, but with the same quality and material. But we don‘t just choose the first option - looking forward to contact and visit other manufactures. The problem is: They are all more in the south of China (Shenzhen and Guangzhou) Because of that I‘ll do some workation there next year ⏳ iron sharpens iron ⚒️🦾 chinese efficiency 🐐 📍 Hangzhou had the idea to host a networking event - outreached to 50+ people on LinkedIn and Instagram and 4 days later… ➡️ @mym_connect with @johnnys.arts 🚀 Let‘s connect on LinkedIn (Silvan Monroy) 40+ people showed up, 10+ pitched their product, startup or idea (proud of y‘all!), 20+ new WeChat contacts, had soooo valuable conversations, learned much about chinese business culture and even have some partners to launch 101 Sports Club also in China in 2-4 years now. Should we bring that to Switzerland? Maybe sometimes combined with a social run from @runclub.buelach 🔥 More about that in the next days (after movie, reels and photos) training powered by @alipay fresh fruits >>> sweets Join the movement // One Life. Internship successfully completed 🎥🇨🇳 @johnnys.arts, @maxis__art and I worked for three weeks in Shanghai in the shared office space for startups @treetree_space 🌳 We worked with the startup @souluckyworld and their sub-brand @soulucky_kunlun. They sell Chinese wisdom bracelets which stand for different elements and energies. Our project was about producing two videos for social media. We combined my personality and lifestyle with the product, and both videos turned out great. Absolute dream team together with Johnny, Max and all the people from Tree Tree and Soulucky 🙌 It was definitely not my last time in Shanghai. I love it here! But this internship was a once-in-a-lifetime chance. I learned so many valuable skills and experienced so many things, made great new contacts and, in general, had an amazing time. In the end we presented our final product, the whole project, our learnings and @mym_connect (our own networking event) and got the certificate of complention. Big thanks to everyone who made that possible for us! 🫶🏼 See you next year China 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼🇨🇳 taken in Shanghai 上海 外灘 by @silvanmonroy

这是我的命运 | Thank you, China 🇨🇳🫶🏼 These three weeks shaped a new Silvan. Pretty much the same goals, but a new way of thinking, making decisions and moving faster. I definitely picked up some of that Chinese efficiency. Sad that it’s over, but happy that it happened and excited for the next time (next year, lezz goooo!!!). I’m leaving China, but I’m taking a part of it home with me 😁 Now flying from Shanghai via Istanbul back to Zurich. 16 hours of travelling :) One Life. CHAPTER 01 | Networking Event Shanghai 🇨🇳 ⚡️ The definition of "Shanghai Speed" - this event was built in only 4 days. Very tight scedule, but not for China. Over 40 people showed up and over 10 of them pitched their startup, product or idea. Very proud of y‘all! You made a great move!🔥 We even had a bartender, partners and sponsors. Big thanks! 🌳 Thank you sooooo much @treetree_space - Beautiful location! 📸 @_kbalmer 🎥 @joel_zhh_ We don‘t really know yet what we‘ll do with MYM CONNECT in future. Maybe some networking events back in Switzerland. Maybe combined with a social run. And when we‘re back in China. Stay tuned and always remember: Every day you have the chance to MAKE YOUR MOVE 🚀 taken in Shanghai 上海 外灘 by @silvanmonroy

weird to say but scrolling through all the successfull peoples videos inspired me to start, kind of. Why staying average, when you see them every day on your phone, having successfull companies, training hard, create cool content and living a great lifestyle. They‘re just humans like we are, but they already went through the hard path we hahe before us. Start now. Not tomorrow. Dream big and never give up! We can achieve everything when we give 101% effort every day. One Life. Full Effort. // Join the movement 🔥🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 by @silvanmonroy
