A little walk through our art gallery at Conscious Soul Festival 💙

I’m surrounded by artists whose work makes me want to stop, stare, and ask a hundred questions. Grace, Stephen, Tiffany, Silver Arrow Art—and so much more beauty beyond our tent.

Come wander, meet the artists, and see what speaks to you. I’ll be right here with my work and a big grin on my face. 🎨✨#artbynugget #how2risebook #consciouslifestyle #love #community taken in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina by @silverarrowart

Story of the cowboy cat and the bounty hunter below 💕

Had a beautiful time gathering with friends and painting this mural at Secret Dreams this year! So many beautiful, strange things, including my first pretty undeniable experience witnessing UFO’s with my own eyes (anybody else catch them sunday night???) 🥰 thank you to everyone who kept the ship afloat when storms threatened to sink it!

Story time:
The bounty hunter approached the board with a gnawing aching in his belly. After the last attempt to apprehend an outlaw left him battered and empty handed, he was dragging his feet, eyes heavy with defeat.
Something catches his eye… a wanted poster.. for a cat? Inquisitively he picks it off the wall and sees a tremendous reward for subduing the feline. It was an odd job, but seemed like easy pickings. The last place it had been seen wasnt even too terribly far, just a two day journey in the wastelands. His eyes widened, and he thought he heard a snicker behind him but quickly dismissed it.

With a desperate optimism he sets out for the cat with not a moment to waste, he’ll be damned if he lets anyone else catch it first.

The night passes and the suns rays rise with a vengeance. The ground cracks and crumbles with every step and he wonders if it could all be a trick. He trudges on, every once in a while re-inspecting this cat poster.
“It’s just a cat, how serious can it really be?” He mutters to himself, noting that someone took the care to make it its own hat, cementing the idea that it’s someone’s beloved fur baby.

He held the poster as his eyes traced the horizon line. No sign of the cat, maybe someone had brought it to the city in the distance.
Suddenly a loud crack in the mountain disturbs his thoughts. He looks up to see a boulder that could certainly wipe out the entire city fall, and there, at the tipping point, stood a beast of magnitudes unfathomable by any standards of measurement. His eyes widened as he looked from the beast to the poster, realizing the gravity of this quest.
He takes a breath, and presses on.

Last month I got a call from the manager of the new Amazon fulfillment center in Wilmington. They wanted some murals 🤩
When I arrived, I realized it was a massive undertaking. More than 2,200 square feet of blank walls with a deadline of September 30th. Needless to say, I knew I couldn’t tackle this one alone.
I reached out to another local artist, Lacey Vilandry @silverarrowart to partner with me in this project. Thankfully she was in and so we got to work!

I’ve loved seeing this mural come to life and so have all the Amazon workers. This is a 60 foot mural that welcomes over 5,000 employees to ILM1 every morning. This project has pushed me to new limits in so many ways but it’s not over yet, on to the next! 💃 1 down 2 to go.
