Finally sharing some work I completed this summer in collaboration with @verobeachelementary @ironsidepress @the_learning_alliance on the lobby renovation of Vero Beach Elementary!

Using imagery from the courtyard mural I've been working on for the school, we created illustrated window vinyls to showcase Moonshot's out of this world math and literacy curriculum. I know as a kid I would be inspired to explore if I got to walk through that lobby every day. 💖🌌🌠

Thanks so much all!

“Cradle” 🤲🏼 acrylic on panel, 12”x12”.

A lot of compositions come to my mind when my eyes are half closed or, in the case of this piece, shielding my eyes from the sun. Something about having a strong urge to express but being very sensitive to exposure. Gentle structure becomes vital, and to be honest I’m still practicing holding creative energy without burnout.

What a magical experience at @robotloveart 6 this weekend! Thank you to this lovely couple that adopted my piece “To the Core”. Moments like this where I am surrounded by art and artists, sharing community bonds, working and playing hard- is when I feel the most alive, the most HUMAN.

Love to the install and mural artists, and especially @derekgores @reb.king_creates @e_volv_ing for making it possible. taken in Eau Gallie Arts District by @silverlynstudio

🎶🎼🎵
When Danielle opened our doors almost 1 year ago, she didn’t want to rush the design of the lobby.
The space of connection.
The space of laughter.
Of fear.
Of happiness.
Of growth.
Of events.
Of friendship.
And everything in between.
🎵
The same feelings music and songs lyrics bring to people.
🎶
Sarah Peck, artist of @silverlynstudio understood her vision and her paint brush has been able to put Danielle’s vision on the wall.

We hope you love wha it is adding to the space so far…and don’t forget, our 1st Anniversary Party is FEBRUARY 28th!!! taken in REsistance Cycle & Strength by @silverlynstudio

🍁💞🍁 I was honored to assemble and paint a piece of collaborative art for a friend who had to unexpectedly call off her wedding last month. In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, her local family and friends gathered to comfort her and celebrate her brave new chapter. We asked those present at the dinner to write messages of encouragement on torn paper for her future self, and overnight I collaged/painted them into this piece. It’s always humbling as an artist to facilitate the creation of collective meaning. I was moved to witness and be a part of the love that showed up to support my friend during a difficult time. I needed the reminder that not only do I weave my love into my art, my hand is moved by the love of many others.

Recently completed a batch of custom painted aluminum cut outs using exterior grade enamel. This turtle is over 3 ft tall! I was seeing scales in my sleep, but it feels great to be producing. More photos to come!
