GRAPE 🍇 FEATURE ~ FURMINT ~ Sept. 24th to Sept. 27th

Four wines made from Furmint grapes: tiny production levels, limited meddling, tongue vibrating acidity that requires extended aging on lees and in oak, plus extra hang time in bottle.

singular place - singular human - singular wine ~
from the french alps where the altitude is too high and the soils too rocky for phylloxera bugs, and the slopes are too steep for machines. without these disturbances, vines age well over 100 years old.

the winemaking is patient, unafraid, and never forced, utilizing the tools of the heart primarily and the measured data last.
